Perhaps Britney Spears has grown weary of Mailbu. Spears was seen checking out second home prospects in the Santa Barbara area. There are reports that Brit checked out three homes in Montecito, though she went in only one.

 

It was recently reported that our favorite pop tart contacted her record label and was looking to rush a new album out on the shelves because she was "running out of money."

 

The reports went on to say that a source close to Spears claimed that the recent purchase of a $7 million house in Malibu, California and the subsequent renovations have left the singer and her hubby Kevin Federline looking to bring in some major income.

 

In the past, Britney has sold photos for extra cash. She sold her wedding photos and gave Fed-ex the proceeds as a wedding gift.

 

If she was broke why would she be house hunting?
