MCFLY have landed their own TV special to be screened before next month’s X Factor final.

 

 

The hour-long show will see Dougie, Danny, Harry and Tom

Perform some of their greatest hits for a studio audience

 

The band will also be doing comedy sketches about Harry’s Strictly stint and Dougie’s time on I’m A Celeb.

 

Tom did The Cube of course, but I’m not sure that was as memorable.

 

A telly snitch told me: “McFly are still really popular after all these years so ITV producers jumped at the chance to sign them up.

 

“It’ll be a great hour of music, comedy and some celeb guests.”

 

I’m told the cheeky four-piece will also be playing pranks on their famous friends.

 

The special, which was given the green light after a meeting earlier this month, is scheduled to air on December 9 at 7pm.

 

My source added: “To get a slot just before the X Factor final is a pretty big deal. If it gets good ratings there’s a chance the lads could even be given their own series.

 

“Strictly and jungle viewers love them, so ITV have big expectations for this.”

I REALLY hope this is true. If it is it could really help the album and the tour!! Pleased for them getting another top 10 today, they deserve it!

It could.....Tour tickets go onsale the day before
