Not only Buzzjack though. A LOT of people wanted Margaret to win.

And a lot wanted Loreen to win. So, not just Buzzjack - whatever, the point is, I was obsessed with Amazing, I'm obsessed with this - Euphoria won, maybe Margaret will follow suit.

I'm not sure that Margaret will win, it doesn't sound like a European smash summer hit or anything, more the sort of respected entry that could even win over non Eurovision fans, a la Divine, although I'm sure it will do far better than that! I'd like to see her challenge for the top five though! The thought of seeing her live is amazing!

I'm not convinced it will win either. It seems like something that might end up being too marmite across Europe to go the whole way.

THANK GOD FOR THAT!

I missed it all, but I'm so pleased the right song won through. Bombo grew on me so much over the past week, but it would have been so wrong if it had triumphed over the far more supremely talented Margaret Berger. It's a shame Malta can't ditch that absolutely drip of an entry and steal Bombo for themselves really.

Not heard the other songs but very pleased to see Margaret won! Such a brilliant song. It's not quite as "friendly" as 'Euphoria', but I can see this being a top 5 hit. Excellent!

THIS!

I love the track. It gives me the same feeling as "Taken By a Stranger" and that was my favourite 2011 entry, so it's fair to say I found my 2013 favourite.

But I'm not bothered with the ifs and maybes of Norway winning. The main thing is, I am going to see Margaret Berger LIVE OH MY GOD!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

YESSSSSSSSSS
Worst song won and will be the next "Shitphoria" :puke:

 Maybe you should try liking it, it's going to do very well with you hating it.

I'm SO happy  I don't think it will be a winner but I think it should easily be a top 10 (without hearing a lot of the other songs of course), and it's definitely the best entry so far (although Finland could come close to catching her if it continues growing on me at the rate it is)!

For once I'm with Alex. :(

Actually, I don't mind the verses too much but the chorus is such a non-event.

I dont see the big attraction with the Norway song, it is good but does not have anything killer in the chorus.

This is completely my problem.

I think the chorus is perfect, it's not a BIG song so a big pop chorus would have sounded out of place. Plus I'm always for songs which basically just segue from verse to chorus back to verse.

In 1974 we have "Hvem" and "The First Day Of Love" on Norsk Melodi Grand Prix...

Now it's Margaret Berger and "Bombo" :(

Retro pop music

I Feed You My Love enters the Norwegian chart at #12, a place behind Bombo which goes in at #11. On iTunes they're currently #6 and #8 with Bombo in front :o

I'm probably in a minority here, but I find it underwhelming aside from the chorus. Margaret will get a decent result in Malmo for Norway but that's it.

"Bombo" - the girl can not sing.....but it's OK in studio. I think the entry which would have been a decent choice for the Norwegians would have been "Det er du" by Tom Hugo. Could get top 10 in a weak year like this.

2013 - out of what I've heard so far...only Germany has grabbed me. Very bad year this year. Hopefully Anouk will not disappoint :-)

In 2004 Berger auditioned for the second series of Norwegian Idol (or Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne to be precise) only to be dumped before the live shows. Luckily, one of the judges brought her back as a wildcard (she finished second), and her 2006 album Pretty Scary Silver Fairy explored electropop (think a lighter Röyksopp or the Knife). She's been quiet for a couple of years, but recently won Melodi Grand Prix (the Norwegian version of Your Country Needs You) and will represent Norway at Eurovision. Her song, I Feed You My Love, is spectacular – all big farting synths and dark lyrics like, "You put a knife against my back and you dare me to face the attack". Jade Ewen this ain't.
