After listening to the full studio version, these are my rankings so far...

Gothminister - Utopia - 4/10 - Gives me nothing

Adelén - Bombo - 10/10 - Cypway  Ina Wroldsen as songwriter (Best known for 'Ask Embla' on Buzzjack, but also made songs for The Sats, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis... the list is long + she is from my hometown)

Lucky Lips - Sweet and Heavy - 7/10 - This song is going straight to the heart of the Norwegian people, I bet this is going to qualify.

Gaute Ormåsen - Awake - 5.5/10 - The best song I've heard from Gaute, I'm still not impressed though...

Anine Stang - The Young - 7/10 - This sounds very American to me?? Anyway, it's a good song but I've heard this SO many times before

Winta - Not Afraid - 8/10 - Retro techno

Sirkus Eliassen - 9/10 - As I said, Norway will vote this to the final.. and I might do the same :kink: Direkte til Spektrum!

At this very moment, I want to see Sirkus Eliassen, Winta and Adelén going through... BUT I think Sirkius Eliassen, Lucky Lips and Gothminister will qualify.

Okay, this semi is REALLY average. :( Nothing awful but hardly anything amazing.

Semi 1 - 5/10

Semi 2 - 9/10

Semi 3 - 6.5/10

My favourite is Sirkus, by far too. The 'i love you ah-ah-ah' part gives me goosebumps. The rest is just either boring (Lucky Lips, Winta, Anina) or just okay (Utopia, Awake, Bombo). Although Awake is my 2nd fave with 7.5/10.

"Synk eller svøm, min venn, for strømmen er sterk"

I was hoping for something as amazing as Synk Eller Svøm from Gaute really :(

Gothminister! <3

Can definitely see Margaret Berger doing well if Norway chooses her. I've only just heard it (I was watch DMGP when she was on) but it's fantastic!

Norway have to send Margaret (short of something groundbreaking turnin up in the third semi). It strikes me as a Divine/Taken By A Stranger respectable sort of entry that would even cross over to the Eurovision haters.

I definitely get the Taken By A Stranger comparison here but the Margaret Berger song is soo boring. :(

Don't worry you will feel my WRATH YOU WRETCHED CUNT.
Not a great semi, LOVING the summer sounds of Bombo and I Love You Te Quiero, even if both would probably suffer the same fate as Haba Haba/Ven A Bailar Conmigo if sent. The Young is fairly decent and everything else is forgettable on the first listen. It's not exactly been a vintage year for MGP but Margaret Berger is a real saving grace and they MUST send her!

As much as I LOVE Bombo and I Love You Te Quiero, we have to send Margaret Berger

Margaret Berger >>>>>>>>>>>> Bombo and I Love You Te Quiero >>>>>>> everything else

I Feed You My Love is definitely way better than anything else on offer this year, to me it sort of feels like the song tATu should have sent (and landslided the contest with) in 2003, the production is very tATu. Not saying that it sounds dated, they were pretty ahead of their time.
I Feed You My Love is EPIC. Definitely the best song so far, and definitely the best ESC song this year so far actually. Sounds like something that could do very well at Eurovision.

I was thinking exactly this 2 days ago!

Results in Semi 3!

3rd: Gaute

2nd: Sirkus Eliassen

1st: Adelén

YES Adelén! Bombo is such a future summer smash, the song's intro is possibly my favourite intro to a song this year! Amazed that it beat a similar (but slightly inferior) song by Sirkus Eliassen too! Adelén for Malmo or will Margaret walk this? Looks like she might unless Bombo is hugely popular. Either way, it looks like an excellent entry from Norway this year despite a largely week national final...

Woot? Bombo won the semi final? Had never thought it would do that well :-D loved i love you te quiero! Suprised it didn't win the semi.
Sirkus Eliassen coming second makes me feel a bit more confident about Margaret winning this thing. Just got to hope Bombo doesn't suddenly become the favourite to win!

Tooji came second in his Semi. :D

Bombo is good, but I really hope that it doesn't stop Margaret winning. I Feed You Love is quite likely to be one of the very best ESC songs this year!
Just listened to 'Bombo' and sounds brilliant, similar to 'Zaleilah' with that summer anthem feel! That or Margaret winning would be fantastic!
Please send 'Bombo'. This will end up being 2009 again where I never quite got all the love for 'Fairytale'. :(
