To be honest not that overly excited about this release after "Nasty" I didn't like that track to be honest, hope that further releases will be better, I wasn't overly keen on her 2nd album but her first album was brilliant.

So psyched for this!!!!!!!!

It's such a shame that this album is going to bomb horrifically. 'Lay Me Down' not top 1500 and not top 1500 on POP same applies to the album.

I think she should just skip to the next era and abort this. She should have started with a collaboration as Capital usually play it out of curiosity and hype

No amount of skipping and aborting would change how future releases are destined to flop.

I think she's just quite simply had her time, a lot can change in 5 years and plus two years elapsed in the time between her previous album which was a flop.

#941 on POP charts now :) Still not where it should be. Surprised at how much its fallen since it rushed all the way to #700 on the normal itunes chart

I don't think she's had her time tbf - 'Nasty' proved that she still have some sort of fanbase that's enough to go top 10 in the officiall charts. I just think she needs to return to her debut sound rather than trying to go motown.

I'm gutted but I do think this will be her last album. If her label are smart they would postpone the album to October and repackage it with a massive new single as judging by the previews nothing sounds like 'All About Tonight', 'Mama Do' or 'Boys and Girls' which should be her sound.

She has songs with Ed Sheeran & Calvin Harris - I don't understand why she just doesn't use them.

I agree that she hasn't had her time but I think her time with Polydor is up. I can see her leaving and joining another record company (ideally Roc Nations or Def Jam which she originally belonged to).
I really hope this album is released. I've been looking forward to it so much, especially after 'Lay Me Down' proved to be the best thing she's done in her career and I've really taken to her in general a *lot* :(
At the end of the day it's herself and the label to blame. Pixie has always been given a lot of support from radio, music stations and music shows and had the music, videos and promo been up to scratch she'd have been fine. But thinking 'Nasty' was suitable was just idiocy and so was thinking the Pixie Lott persona was marketable. I used to really like her but honestly I couldn't warm to 'Nasty' and my excitement for this era is nill :(
She has clearly had her time. She was lucky to extend her career this far. "Enough of a fanbase to get a low top 10 single" is not what a record label looks for. Outside of the internet nobody seems to care about her. Lay Me Down is not a bad song, but she's done.

I think in 2009/2010 people wanted a normal, every day popstar while people like Lady Gaga were dominating and she fitted that mould, she was in the right place at the right time.

'All About Tonight' was also a perfect song to come back with but it very much went to shit for her after that.

Champion, Kill a Man & Ocean are the clear highlights. The uptempo songs are great in general, but some of the ballads are a little cheesy.

CHAMPION!!!

It really should have went

Single 1: Lay Me Down

Single 2: Champion.
