My second favourite discovery of 2012 (Carrie wins obv), Alyssa is comfortably in #2, having been in my chart for nearly a year! It is the joint owner for longest consecutive run at #1. Note: This is all versions combined, I just put it under Part 2 as it's mainly that version I listen to.

Greyson was my first ever BJSC entry with this song, and I still adore it to bits. The fact that he was 13 when he wrote and recorded this makes it all the more amazing IMO. Deserves to be more than an Asian bonus track.

I've known about Gabrielle for quite a while now, she's got a beautiful voice and I think 2013 holds a lot for her. The Power of Love is such a beautiful cover and I'm so glad she achieved her first #1 with this song!

 

I like Gabrielle's version of The Power Of Love, but the original is much better in my opinion.

 

Joseph, have you heard this song by her? :D

Griff - I have it on my iPod but I've not listened to that one! I adore "Home" though, fantastic song!

Bump Bump is a demo that Lucie wrote and sang, and it was uploaded to Soundcloud at the end of 2011, but deleted not long after.. It's a fantastic song and it's a shame Lucie won't be using it herself - it's for someone else and shouldn't have ever been uploaded. :lol:

It might be the least successful #1 of my chart (either this or Turn To You), but it's still a damn good song showing that Diana's second album is going to be all kinds of amazing!

 

47. Marina & The Diamonds - Primadonna

This was the song that really made me sit up and take notice of Marina. The Family Jewels is a great album but I never really listened much before Primadonna and Electra Heart came along.

After Ryan entered this into BJSC (and came second with it!), I fell in love with it. Generic female dance pop - it can't go wrong.

I remember hearing this live about a year ago when Daniela was supporting The Saturdays live on tour. Fantastic song and the studio version is even better!

A One Direction album track manages to sneak into my top 50 at #41. Fantastic ballad, up there with More Than This and Taken, which were my two favourites from Up All Night.

I agree that The Family Jewels is such an incredible album. Electra Heart was a let down in comparison, but i still love it!
