The fun summery track, that was inescapable in the charts for months. Definitely aged quite a fair bit since it left the chart (and now fairly annoying), i also have a strong urge to punch the lead singer's face :drama:

Cover Drive managed to somehow secure their second number on my chart, and with the help of Dappy, this became their biggest (perhaps ever) hit. It hung around for a while, spending two weeks at the top.

Kick-starting the top 20 with another dafuq dis doin here tune, but helped by the mahoosive She Doesn't Mind, and through being played at some very drunken nights, this 2011 hit smashed into the chart, racking up a stable chart run, and a song that i returned to throughout the year. All held together by Jordan's incredible chorus obviously!

Never really been a fan of M5, and just like usual this song infuriated me when i first heard it. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it became somewhat of a special song though in the early summer, and as a result it's chart run reflected that, with even a week at the top. Weird how such an annoying song can hold such strong memories, but there you go!

And where would a chart of 2012 be without this Stupid How again! Another song that grated my tits initially (not in a good way), but it soon begun to caress them, in all too amazing manner. Helped largely by one of my favourite vidoes of the year (i have painful memories of recreating it on some drunken nights!), and the birth of my Onika stanning, Stupid Hoe blew up bigger than a prosthetic ass. This is also the time when the songs start to blow up in terms of overall points earned on the charts...

17. Loreen - My Heart is Refusing Me

Still riding high in the top 5 of my personal charts as i write this (and thus probably deserving of a top 15 place once the year actually ends), but for now Loreen will have to settle for #17 (and another entry still to come). It took me a while to fall in love with this beauty (yes, i was on Buzzjack all year and only JUST fell in love with her a few months ago). But she's now here to stay, and with what has become my favourite album of the year, My Heart is Refusing Me should stick around for a while. Mustering a mighty month on the top spot, blocking wigs left, right and centre, and a video still to come, expect this to chart well into 2013 too! This epic tune could also be a challenger to dethrone one of Gaga's many songs in my ALL-TIME top 10 overall chart.

16. Marina and the Diamonds - Primadonna

Next up is Marina's biggest UK hit to date, and the second biggest in my personal chart history (i don't think she will EVER top Radioactive!). This slice of self-indulgent pop glory shot in at #1, and after a hefty fall it stabilised and became one of the biggest hits of the year. Watching it stall just outside the top 10 of the UK official chart was excruciating, but who cares when you've manage #16 on MY chart!?

15. Basshunter - Northern Light

A little early Christmas treat from this hunk of Swedish Meatballs, Basshunter has always been successful on my chart, and sure enough he returned with this mammoth hit, that stayed atop my chart for a month (yes, really!). The infectious, raving beat, the corny lyrics, the hot video, Jonas' sultry voice... Everything was in check for him to smash, and smash he did, and smash me he can continue to do :yahoo: .

And don't cool down just yet, because next up is five times to totty, in this summer slammer from the boys most definitely WANTED. Managing to top the charts on two occasions, The Wanted racked up yet another hit on my charts (follow up I Found You didn't fair as well unfortunately). These boys can't really do any wrong for me, with every single one of their singles peaking top 5, but suprisingly this remains their only ever #1 here.

Ms. Minaj continues her reign of bubblegum terror with this slightly edgier affair. The lead single to the Re-Up bit of the album (whatever happened to that?), The Boys stuck around for a while before finally peaking top 5, and with that it managed a mammoth amount of points in the chart. She still has two more (FAR weaker) singles still to come, but it's this that stands out as the best track on the repackaged album. More of this and less noise on the next album please!

I love Stupid Hoe! :wub: I realise that it's not to everyone's tastes, but it's such a brilliant song! :D

12. Loreen - Euphoria

Not a very well-known song from Loreen, Euphoria went under the radar on Buzzjack, and even i was late to realise the mastery of the recently crowned LorQueen. When the song finally struck with me, there was no turning back, and i became a full loon for the woman. A beautiful voice, incredible lyrics, euphoric sound and heart-racing beat shot the song to the #1 spot, and though it's not my favourite on the album (shock horror), it gives testament to what an incredible album Heal is. I can safely say that Heal is my #1 album of the year, and it all started with this hidden gem. I just hope Buzzjack would join the bandwagon and appreciate how good she is :cry:

The second hit from Sean Paul here (time machine much?) is this infectious smash that came from nowhere to dominate pretty much everywhere in the UK! I never thought he'd be back, but wid tunez lyk dis he can deffs stay! I must say i found myself more interested in the fiesty females in the video though as opposed to him (WHAT is with that mohawk? :blink:). Narrowly missing out on the top 10 (by 3 whole points) Sean Paul brought dat fire hard this year!
