I couldn't find a thread for season 1 anywhere Blimpjack?! Probably my favourite comedy of the last few years. Season 2 starts in January. Trailer if you will:

 

I'm not sure I'm going to bother this time, they were all so HATEFUL and just as things started to go well, it went to shit again.

Cannot wait. 'Voice of a generation' is a bit strong, but there isn't really anyone who gets the mid-20s like Lena Dunham at the moment.

Leaning on the weaker side, but a welcome return.

 

Lena Dunham/Girls won their respective categories at the Golden Globes. I suppose that is something.

Delighted to see more of Shoshanna and Jessa this week - the show really does work best when you have the moods of all four girls across it. Jessa's dinner with her husbands' parents was absolutely superb.

this is back and the first two episodes were of a VERY high standard. LOLs for all!

I've watched the whole three series of this within a week (tragic), and I really enjoyed it. The characters ARE hateful as John said over a year ago, but they're also very likeable. Shoshanna is my absolute favourite. I'm looking forward to seeing where the next series go, especially with Hannah and Adam's current relationship status/Hannah moving to Iowa. Also, Elijah has been confirmed as a series regular for season four!

Anyone else watching the current series?

 

I'm three episodes in and the most recent one is my favourite so far. I'd prefer a bit more of the New York scenes than Iowa but it has always been Hannah-centred. I really like the different relationships that they're exploring also: Hannah and Elijah; Marnie and Desi; and Jessa and Adam. We need more of Shoshe but her scenes kill me every time anyway.

not really enjoying it much so far, way too much Hannah. I did like the Jessa + Adam interactions and Elijah has been absolute gold, he needs to stick around.
