Commentary : Just as "Locked out of heaven" exits the chart, this week sees Bruno Mars 7th number one on my chart following "Grenade", "Just the way you are", "Liquor store blues", "Talking to the moon", "It will rain" and the aforementioned "Locked out of heaven" - this certainly puts him amongst my favourite artistes of all time with presumably still a long career left to run. Up from 7 to 3 is Jovanotti with perhaps my favourite song of his career "Tensione Evolutiva". But the big mover of the week is Pink featuring Nate Reuss lead singer of Fun who may yet his second number one of the year on my chart following "We are young" whilst Pink has had two number ones on my chart in her career with "Get the party started" and "Just like a pill" and slips from 3 to 10 with "Try". There are 6 new entries this week all of different genres. The highest at 11 is another artist who has already struck number one this year Bachata singer Romeo Santos ... for 4 weeks with "Mi Santa" and previously charted highly with "You" and "Promise" since leaving Aventura. At 13 is a song from the Bollywood film "Khiladi 786" and this time last year "Senorita" was top from the Bollywood film "Zindagi na milegi dobora" with another track "Ik Junoon" in the Top 10. At 14 is yet another singer who has been at the top this year...Luan Santana... again 4 weeks with "Te Vivo" and 1 week with "Nega" , was top in 2011 with "Quimica do amor" and returns this week with the Setenejo song "Sograo Caprichou". However at 15 is a newcomer, London based quartet Clean Bandit with their fusion track "A & E" which smashed into the UK chart this week at...number 100. At 19 is this weeks number 3 in the US billboard chart "Ho hey" from US folk rock group The Lumineers whilst at 20 is US Latin singer AB Quintanilla with his cumbia track "Solo" having last charted in 2001 with the Kumbia Kings on "Shhh" which went all the way to number one.
