Zlata Ognevich's ballad is ENORMOUS. Total death by vox

Other than that Alina Grosu's track is fun for Europe in a Max Barskih - Dance kind of way but I've heard it's apparently a foregone conclusion and Zlata's got it in the bag.

(We can forgive 2003 as they were only just starting. 2007 gave us a scare but we can also forgive it for being the finest of its genre.)

(AND 2012!! Mika Newton was better than that mess!)

Anyway, Albania are gonna have to make do with 2nd for now, I think I also have a new fave.

Erm Eyes I will NOT have badmouthing of WELCOM PEEEPOL in this forum

Eh, there will be NO dissing of Ukraine 2005 and 2010 PLEASE. Both fab entries! (Yes, I'm being serious!)

This is NICE but it's all a bit dated, like something you'd hear in The Lion King. That said, I can see Ukraine doing well, provided that it's not thrown into a Ukrainian controversy and ends up being changed.

I'll permit 2010, but Greenjolly was a total no (even if I SEE why they had to get it out of their system etc)

Something you'd get in the musical version of The Lion King was the exact comparison I thought of for this. Not that I don't LOVE a good dated voxfest. I could see this going top ten anyway, her vocals are brilliant so the juries will wet themselves.

AMAZING.
Broken strings :D My favourite entry of theirs since Shady Lady on first listen!
As soon as Zlata was announced I knew she'd win, after the controversy surrounding Kukushka she'd only ever return to the NF if she was guaranteed a win. Good song though!

Absolutely fantastic and incredible vocals!!! I have a very good feeling this will be in my top 5 when we have heard all the entries! :D

The instrumental's out. Zlata hasn't laid down studio vox yet but this is going to be something QUITE special.

Awful song from Ukriane. Every year, again and again. Only "Angel" wasn't bad.

New song for my ESC horrors thread.
