From ESC Today:

MKRTV, the national broadcaster of FYR Macedonia has announced the names of the artists who will have the honour of representing FYR Macedonia at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden.

Esma Redzepova and Vlatko Lozanoski have been selected via an internal selection by MKRTV in order to represent FYR Macedonia at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö next May. Both artists are well known acts in their home country.

Not really feeling him, tbh. :( She, however, is amazing! She should've teamed up with this guy again:

And here is the official video for 'Imperija':

Well that could go either way. I really like it though!

LOL this is the biggest joke in the country today! the video the song everything

what a pile of shit :puke:

I'm over ESC anyway... but still...poor Esma & Lozano!

check this out:

MKTV is canceling Imperija and a new team is working on a brand new song for Lozano and Esma!

Darko Dimitrov (ESC 2006) and Lazar Cvetkovski (Lozano's producer) are writing the song and Elena Risteska (ESC 2006 performer) is expected to write the lyrics.

The song should be done by March 18th (EBU deadline) and the official video by the end of the month.

Macedonia are up against it anyway as most of their 'friends' are in the other semi-final. Unless it's better than Imperija, I don't think they're gonna be in the final.

!! This was my 2nd favorite so far (and it was of the few I really liked).

Changing entry should be prohibited (and I'm not just saying this now 'cause one of my favorites is gone).

This was really catchy, it was popping into my head all day today. It was a pretty instant song and hard to forget. I had it at #12 on my rankings but it surely would have moved upwards.

Shame, it seems like a lot of strange and silly decisions are being made this year.

Esma and Lozano recorded the new Eurovision song that will replace Imperija. The song is fast with modern rhythm and still doesn't have a title, there's still some minor work on it and it should be presented on Wednesday evening. The key people are Darko Dimitrov and Lazar Cvetkovski, the Esma's part is prepared by Simeon Atanasov. Elena Risteska and Magdalena Cvetkovska (awesome lyrics writer) are responsible for the lyrics. Backing vocalist for Esma is Eleonora Mustafovska, the lead vocalist of "Esma's band". MRT informed that the song will not be presented in a special show but on some of the regular shows or the main news. The video is still not made.

Glad they are going to still have an uptempo track if this news is true! I hope they can come up with something even better than 'Imperija' which I liked for its variety even though it was fairly low on my rankings!

The title for the new entry is "Pred da se razdeni" and should be revealed tonight according to a poster on ESC Forum. Some websites say it will be on Friday, but the poster believes that it will be tonight. We will wait and see!
