Posted December 31, 201212 yr From ESC Xtra: The Georgian national broadcaster GPB has just revealed that their choice for Malmö is going to be a duet – Sopho Gelovani and Nodiko Tatishvili. GPB has announced before that their selection for Malmö is going to be internal. The way of choosing the song has not yet been decided, but we know that the sixth entry from Georgia is going to be their first ever duet in the Eurovision Song Contest. Georgia achieved their best result in 2010 and 2011 when Sopho Nizharadze and Eldrine respectively both ended up 9th. Anri Jokhadze represented Georgia in Baku, but failed to reach the final. http://escxtra.com/2012/12/sopho-gelovani-...li-for-georgia/ Edited February 14, 201312 yr by Ryan.
December 31, 201212 yr Oh, another different Sopho. :( I was hoping the woman who gave us the amazing performance/wink in 2010 was returning. At least after last year the only way is up in terms of quality.
December 31, 201212 yr Author Sopho Nizharadze was amazing!! Her performance of 'Shine' should have at least achieved top 5 if not top 3! 2-1yBx6IQN0
January 1, 201312 yr Seriously though... 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013! COME AWN. 2007 > 2010 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2011 All three were TOP NOTCH though.
January 12, 201312 yr Author From ESC Xtra: Georgian Public Broadcasting have gone all out this year by hiring one of the co-writers of last year’s winning song to compose their entry for Eurovision 2013. Thomas G:son, co-writer of “Euphoria” along with Peter Boström, was announced by the broadcaster this morning as composing the entry for Nodi Tatishvili and Sophie Gelovani who were internally selected last week. The announcement means that G:son will have at least one entry in this year’s Song Contest in Malmö, and may add the the tally through Melodifestivalen which begins next month. http://escxtra.com/2013/01/gson-hired-by-gbp/ Sounds interesting!! February 6, 201312 yr Georgia going for the Ell & Nikki vote then... It sounds pretty good though! Can definitely see this doing pretty well.

February 26, 201312 yr Author The song will be released tomorrow morning (8am CET) and the video will be released in 2 weeks! http://escxtra.com/2013/02/song-presentation-tomorrow/
February 27, 201312 yr I'm actually loving this. It has a winner sort of feel too... It's a bit of a cross between Pastora Soler and Ell & Nikki. I would say it's too similar to the 2011 with regards to the inevitable stage setup etc, however I don't think many people can even remember that song, particularly in comparison to recent winning songs from Norway, Germany and Sweden.
February 27, 201312 yr It really is VERY VERY similar to Pastora, the money note key change in particular. That's a VERY GOOD thing, I think I've found my favourite of the year.
February 27, 201312 yr Really like the way it builds up. Not quite as instant as "Running Scared" for me and I'm not getting as much of a 'winner' feeling right now as I did with Ell & Nikki straight away, but with it being Georgia and considering the other entries so far, I'd say it does have potential maybe..
February 27, 201312 yr YES. Georgia, you are back. We'll just pretend that 2012 never happened so I can continue calling you one of my favourite countries. Always love a good duet.
February 27, 201312 yr Georgia's best ever entry and definitely a potential winner. If it does win, does it make G:Son the first writer to win twice in a row?
