August 14, 201311 yr Because clearly its not generating any discussion about the chart. Which isn't surprising since when you click on the thread, there's no chart to be found.
August 14, 201311 yr Author Britster took his time in March to compile all the messages in the thread. The chart will be posted later this week (like every week), but if you wanna do your shit, Euphorique, do it.
August 14, 201311 yr So I guess you're in a bad mood today, guys. I have been doing that for more than a year...and now that's not ok any more. Why now, and not before ? Well, I remember once posting the top 10 and you told me off because it wasn't my job to do so and if I wanted to do so I had to create my own thread. I have nothing agaisnt you, but the point of the forum is to create discussions and to share information with everyone, not to promote your own stuff. This thread is not generating any discussion AT ALL on the forum, and that's the only country that gets this treatment. :( What would people say if instead of posting the UK charts every Sunday, someone was posting a link to one's website? It's not the purpose of the forum.
August 14, 201311 yr Author Well, I remember once posting the top 10 and you told me off because it wasn't my job to do so and if I wanted to do so I had to create my own thread. Please find that message because I have never been disrespectful with anyone here.
August 14, 201311 yr IMO Gary you should post the top 40 in both charts and link to your blog at the end of the post, then bump the thread whenever you have sales figures ^_^ Posting the complete chart every week would just be too much (the Irish chart thread is super duper messy), but it'd definitely be nice for this thread to include a bit more than just more links, especially when you can just go to ChartsInFrance or whatever instead of coming here. Any ideas to make this thread more busy would be great though, I ended up not bothering to check in anymore cause I got bored of talking to myself :(

August 14, 201311 yr So Hayzayy, have you found my mean comment ? No, because I don't have the time to look for it. I didn't say you were mean anayway, I said you told me off for posting the charts in your thread, which is true. Just like you said I was in a "bad mood" for suggesting you could at leat post the top 10 instead of only promoting your website. How wasn't it constructive too?
August 14, 201311 yr No one is in a "bad mood" here, we want the threads to get more discussion going, and we think you posting just the link is part of the problem. Try posting the charts and see if it generates more discussion. Obviously you wont get replies every week, I remember doing the french charts several years ago and it could be quiet, but we did get the occasional conversation going. It doesn't help that the french chart is VERY slow, so it can be boring to comment every week, but at least people can view the french charts right here on buzzjack, which is what this thread is all about.
August 14, 201311 yr Author No, because I don't have the time to look for it. I didn't say you were mean anayway, I said you told me off for posting the charts in your thread, which is true. Just like you said I was in a "bad mood" for suggesting you could at leat post the top 10 instead of only promoting your website. How wasn't it constructive too? You can't find a bad comment from me to you because I never behave like that. You can tell it's true but it's only your truth. The bad mood was about the fact that suddenly you (and Euphorique) discovered what I'm doing every week. And it's not my website, it's a blog and I earn no money with it.

August 15, 201311 yr Much better :D Not too much interesting stuff this week, but I can't believe Génération Goldman 2 still isn't out! I could have swore it was originally meant for May  I blame Amel Bent.
August 15, 201311 yr Not surprised to see Luc Arbogast at #1. He is promoted all day long on TF1 and it's typically the kind of "traditional" album that's gonna be big in France. Mark my words, I can see him clearing the 400k mark by the end of the year. Quite impressive for a The Voice reject, I hope he does better than Olympe in the long run. In other news, Bruno Mars is killing it after 35 weeks ! Shall we post the Top Singles too? Oh and only a suggestion but wouldn't the Top Albums be more interesting without the compilations? I think they kind of make the whole thing flat. Edited August 15, 201311 yr by Hayzayy
August 15, 201311 yr Génération Goldman will be released on 26th August ! :) Ooh fun. I wonder how it'll do? The whole concept seems to have died down in terms of hype massively (as evidenced by the flop single), but I'm sure there's still a big market for it. Oh and only a suggestion but wouldn't the Top Albums be more interesting without the compilations? I think they kind of make the whole thing flat. I think you'd have to take that up with the SNEP

August 15, 201311 yr It makes me very happy inside that TAL's latest single has flopped. France has good taste.
