Quite a bit of stuff floating around at the moment so I thought I'd start an appreciation thread. What with Shelly Poole (the former dark haired one) singing on Michael Gray's hit Borderline.

Her sister Karen Poole has written loads of hits for acts like Kylie and Amy Studt. An extremely talented duo who's 'Collection' album is full of great pop tracks!!!

My 5 fave Alisha tracks:

1. I am, I feel

2. Alisha rules the world

3. Push it all aside

4. The Incidentals

5. Air we breathe

Shelly Poole is supporting Will Young on his forthcoming tour and I am looking forward to seeing her. Will has had some strange support in previous years! :D

I noticed that the other day-I'd quite like to see her live :-) She'll probably sing Borderline
In the 80's Alisha's Attice released a very VERY corny euro disco song under the name of keran & chelly called "sugar daddy" before they turned into alternative pop girls alisha's attic. If you are a big fan of alisha's attic I reccomend you DON'T hear their 80's record! lol

You forgot to mention that Karen is one of Wills mates and often writes with him :D

I just found out the other day that Lucie Silvas co-wrote Who am I? which surprised me :-)

Yeah, she did, with Eg White (Leave Right Now writer).

Lucie has supported Will in the past on his 2004 Summer tour. He seems to like to keep things in the family, so to speak ;)

Also she wrote Stronger with Steve Lipson for Will.

Sugar Daddy!

Because it's Karen and Shellie the song is genius.

Alisha's Attic were like the first cd album I ever bought and first band I ever got into and I still thin kthey're brilliant. Their lyrics were so unique and I love the character of Alisha - a devil and angel.

Too many songs to mention but I like:

Alisha Rules The World

Drunken & Tearful

Air We Breathe

I Am, I Feel

Indestructible

Pretender Got My Heart

Dreaming

Incidentals

Blah, I give up. I think the first album with dave Stewarts production is my favourite though...real magic. it was upsetting watching them get less and less popular towards the end and Im glad they're having their own sucsess.

Aww, Alisha's attic were fantastic - and I love Shelly's solo stuff! She's a real character to meet! :o Well... so is Karen, I guess!

Shelly got Karen up on stage at a recent gig to sing 'Adore you' - was quite a touching moment!

OMG-This is one of the cheesiest things I've ever heard lol

There's another song called Walking Mircale. I saw a website ages ago with a clip for download but I dunno it off hand.

Also surely the best Aa video is Indestructbile? It's like so genius and pretty.

Still makes me upset thinking about like Push it All Aside only getting to #24 and all that c**p.

Oh, I hope Karen joins her on stage on the arena tour as well, it'll be nice if she does. :D
