Posted January 19, 201312 yr In Russia the two main national broadcasters have been alternating the Eurovision Song Contest participation in the past years. While this year the organisation was with Rossiya 1, in 2013 the responsibility for the song contest is again with Channel One Russia. The channel has not announced yet how they are going to select their entry for Malmö, but willing songwriters are already invited to submit their material via the Channel One website using a special online form. The excitement. http://www.esctoday.com/39534/russian-broa...ngs-for-sweden/ Edited February 22, 201312 yr by Umi

February 19, 201312 yr How old is she? Seems like a surprisingly respectable choice from Russia after years of novelty, plain crap and RedOne filler. Looking forward to hearing the song! Maybe this could be the year that Russia and Ukraine mount a comeback, bearing in mind that Gravity is fantastic!
February 19, 201312 yr I actually prefer that version of Skyfall to Adele's. A superb choice for Russia and I can't wait to hear the song!
February 22, 201312 yr C1, Channel 1 Russia has informed esctoday.com that the 2013 Russian Eurovision entry What If will be premiered on Sunday 24 February at 21:00 local time (18:00 CET). Read more here: http://www.esctoday.com/46196/russia-song-...y-on-channel-1/
February 24, 201312 yr This is pretty nice, certainly the best Russian entry of recent years! http://www.1tv.ru/p/voice/video/p58787
February 24, 201312 yr Very nice indeed! :D I do think it'll class with Ukraine in the semifinal as they're both in the first half!
February 24, 201312 yr It is nice, though is it me or does it sound a *teeny* bit like Jessie J - Who You Are?
February 24, 201312 yr I didn't even notice how the song ended. Very Chiara. And a bit dull. But after Grannies anything would seem dull in all honesty.
February 24, 201312 yr Wow, that's amazing!! Definitely has that winner's sound too, should definitely be at least top 5 and could be a winner! Can't wait to hear it in higher quality as the video I watched wasn't the best!

February 24, 201312 yr I like this... Can certainly see it finishing amongst the top five. Surprised it isn't the new favourite. That seems firmly with Denmark still atm!
February 24, 201312 yr I swear Denmark are up there amongst the favourites every year, granted they've had a couple of really strong entries in the past few years but the Bookies always tend to overrate them. If the contest was happening with only the entries confirmed so far, I expect it would be Norway vs. Russia with Denmark trailing somewhere behind...

I'm not sure how well Norway are gonna do yet myself, as much as I'm now loving the song. Seriously think Germany could be in with a shout!
February 25, 201312 yr 'Glorious' sounds nothing like 'Euphoria' in all honesty. They have a similar structure and are both dance songs, but the similarities end there for me. I'm proper loving their song right now!
