One Direction are doing this Year's Comic Relief Single. It is a cover of Blondie's

Hopefully the original of One Way Or Another re-enters the top 40 because of this. I can't imagine the 1D cover being anything but terrible :( It's great that they've been chosen as it will raise lots for the charity, but I wouldn't like to see it at #1 based on song quality.

*enters, I think it has only had one week in the low Top 200 thanks to downloads. Yeah, I agree, it will be total poo, and the fact that they dare to touch a Blondie song...!

Meanwhile, Peter Kay's recorded a duet with PSY.

...actually I don't know  But I wonder what the inevitable other Comic Relief song will be this time? Surely time for someone other than Kay?

Emeli Sande?

Walk This Way, Just Can't Get Enough

I'm Blondie fan, but "One Way Or Another" is not good song.

Apparently, One Direction are not just releasing

their cover of the Blondie Track, for Comic Relief.

It is to be either a 'mash up', or a Double 'A' Side,

with a cover of the 1978 Hit, 'Teenage Kicks' - the

Undertones song.

Was the 1987 comic relief song a christmas song?

Yes. Comic Relief wasn't concentrated around "Red Nose Day" until 1988, and then biennally from 1989.
