Posted January 21, 201312 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's playlisted on Radio 1. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. Great chart as always :D It was a close call between 1D and Conor for the top, will be just as close this week, I actually can't decide what I like more at the moment! I think UK Top 5 will be pushing it but he should comfortably manage Top 10 :) Change Your Life is out on the 4th Feb according to the release schedule, still time for it to climb, I think it will make the Top 20! And Magnetic Eyes is set to climb further here next week, watch this space :P Thanks as always :D
