Maneater has done quite well to chart higher than other songs so far considering it was removed from the chart.

Nice idea, but the thread title is very misleading. I expected it to be based on number of weeks either at No. 1 or in a certain portion of the chart, top 10, top 40, top 75 or whatever but instead it is based on "points"

Crazy is going to be criminally low in this.

I wonder how many singles McFly will have in the bottom 20. :lol:

Starting off the top 100 is Jennifer Lopez, with one of her two chart toppers (from the last 10 years). "On The Floor" will be in the longest #1s countdown. Wiley finally got a #1 by himself after two with Roll Deep - but like his Roll Deep songs "Heatwave" fell quickly. Forgotten #1s by Beyonce, Ne-Yo and Girls Aloud also appear in this section. Rita Ora's 2nd and last entry in this countdown - "How We Do (Party)" suffered from being held back for far too long. At the upper end of the section we have the first McFly song - their Comic Relief single "All About You". We also have two X Factor related entries - the winners single from Leona Lewis and the first of four X Factor Finalists charity singles.

Busted's final chart topper happens to be their longest runner, at #87. Ke$ha's recent #1 didn't have the selling power of her #4 hit "TiK ToK", it is also reflected in its poor chart run. We have Usher and The Streets to finish off the section.

In this section both N-Dublets drop out - with Tulisa having a slightly longer run than Dappy. The Arctic Monkeys' 2nd chart topper is a lot better than their first, but this chart says otherwise as it is at #79. JLS' 2nd entry in this chart - She Makes Me Wanna, to the surprise of everyone, spent 3 weeks in the top 2 - but after that fell down quickly. One of my favourite Dizzee songs in here, the Harris produced Holiday at #75. Michelle from Pop Idol is at #74 sitting next to Alexandra Burke from The X Factor. Gabrielle Aplin's cover version of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's The Power Of Love finishes this section.

:wub: Holiday, Call My Name and Young are excellent party tunes, although I can understand why they had quite short chart runs for a number one.

Surely the least deserving will be won by Elvis or Mcfly?

Holiday was actually a pretty major tune, it just suffered by being delayed for absolutely ages so everyone bought it on the first week. I first heard it the beginning of July and it didn't come out until the end of August, far too late for a summery track! Still love it today tho, the final minute or so is one of the best final minutes in pop music history :dance:

McFly's debut hits "5 Colours In Her Hair" and "Obviously" both appear in this section - the latter having a slightly longer run than the former. "Vertigo" is actually at #68. Jay-Z's #1 from 2009 appears. Later he would have massive hits such as "Ni**as In Paris" "Empire State Of Mind" and "Clique" but none of those hit #1. Nelly's forgettable #1 from 2005 and Jason Derulo's terrible #1 from 2011 appear. Sitting next to them is Tomcraft with his dance smash "Loneliness". X Factor winner Matt Cardle and Christina Aguilera who's "Beautiful" wouldn't sound out of place in The X Factor are up next. We finish with 3 boybands. "Little Things" will be a bit higher than it is once it finishes its chart run but the other two songs we'll probably never see back again.

 

Beautiful's chart run is criminally short: 1-1-5-13 for a song which is regarded as a classic and probably Christina's signature song.

 

Run This Town was quite an odd number one so it's no surprise to see it have a "non-number one" chart run. I still quite like it, although the "quacking ducks" in the background gets annoying!

It's Chico Time scored 808 points compared to Matt's 890 and Tom's 901. I'm only using the top 75 by the way as that's what polyhex does.

Yeah, I only ever use the Top 75 as well but I've got 891 for Chico. Will double check in the morning.
