January 31, 201312 yr ^ Thanks, John. What about Teach-In - Goodbye Love ? onvwCEnj_zA Is it was realised as single in UK ? It's not one I know I'm afraid, though I'd be interested to hear it - radio has never really liked Eurovision follow-ups in the UK (except Uk acts). Even Abba got uneven radio plays: Ring Ring was on radio 1, So Long was on radio luxembourg, I Do I Do I Do was on radio 2 (but not on the others) - it wasn't until SOS that everybody played them! :)

March 3, 201312 yr In The Summernight [sic] was Teach-In's follow up single in the UK - http://www.discogs.com/Teach-In-In-The-Sum...release/4068723 I love their The Robot from 1979, they changed the line-up, it was very much in the faux-ABBA vibe that was popular in Europe at the time. iY7_SeW3jJg I should do a thread about groups like Luv', Champagne and Arabesque (featuring a young Sandra Cretu) sometime, this is totally my thing :D

March 11, 201312 yr PopChartFreak - As regards 'Movie Star', by Harpo..... Only 1 ABBA lady sang backing on it - Frida. Agnetha was not on it. It was a far bigger Hit in many Continental European Countries than it was in the UK - No.1 for 6 Weeks in Sweden, 4 Weeks in Germany, & for 11 Weeks in Norway etc. It only reached no.24 in the UK, & No.13 in Ireland.
