Posted January 30, 201312 yr Just thought I'd do a little prediction thread ahead of Radio 1 announcing this week's playlist this afternoon. Looking at the release schedule for the next few weeks, this is what I think they might add today: Arlissa - Sticks + Stones The Vaccines - Bad Mood Olly Murs - Army Of Two Paramore - Now Saturdays feat. Sean Paul - What About Us (even though this isn't out until March, they gave it their first play this week and I've heard it played a couple of times since then so they could add it this week) Example - Perfect Replacement (depends if they're gonna continue to support him this era following the underperformance of Close Enemies) Dot Rotten - Free Ke$ha - C'mon And I think they'll drop: Biffy Clyro (A) Matrix & Futurebound (A) Rihanna (A) Amelia Lily (B) Emeli Sande (B) Mikky Ekko © Don Broco (U) And Macklemore will obviously move up to B (or even straight to A). Any other predictions?
January 30, 201312 yr hope The 1975 - Chocolate gets added, it's Huw's big thing this week but i'm not sure if it's an official single or not.
January 30, 201312 yr Paramore are surely near-certain given they playlisted Bastille last week and they're both out in the same week. The Vaccines' singles have been picked almost perfectly but "Bad Mood" will inevitably flop, the album's not done well either.
January 30, 201312 yr The Vaccines album is a brillant listen, pity its doing poorly! Would like to see Disclosure/Aluna George in there - although it might be OA/OS a bit like Latch was (although it was played on 1 Xtra before being released on 8th October last year. Also - Jake Bugg - Seen it all Edited January 30, 201312 yr by steve201
January 30, 201312 yr Author Seen It All isn't out until 11th March so I think it's too early for that to be added, it will almost certainly be next week or the week after though. I'm surprised they haven't playlisted Disclosure/AlunaGeorge yet but you could be right, it might be OA/OS or near enough OA/OS.
January 30, 201312 yr Author Ha, Example was the only one I got right  although I was right about Macklemore going straight to A list! Steve you were right about Jake Bugg, but I'm surprised at no Ke$ha, Olly or Vaccines... Edited January 30, 201312 yr by mango
