so indeed~ what better way to kick off trifoski's bjsc '15 season than by continuing the streak of top 10s to SIX. We were a bit more hopeful of Yeasayer's chances here, since to us it's a bit less risky in comparison to 'Sick Beat' and 'Drone Logic'. 'O.N.E.' racked up five 12s and finished in 7th place (tied on points with technical 6th-placers Yehesi), as usual a big thanks to everyone who has voted for Trifoski this month!

This month saw another big win for Altyr Muunilinst- IIIII and Adele Kosman (of For BDK fame) claimed the trophy with "People". Ramrynia's much-hyped 'Save Me' by Listenbee was the runner-up, followed by FSR Rontvia, Aquafina and a dark horse smasher from Fljótavík, current Belgian iTunes #1 'Christine'. Other Trifoski favourites; Ethanola (MYNGA) and Harmonica (Coasts) were 10th and 11th respectively, and Lxury's "Pick You Up" represented Cumulonimbia in 14th place and also 'picked up' (ha!!) our 12 points :D

Thoroughly deserved, "O.N.E" is in my Top 20 singles of the decade so far - so it wasn't any surprise where my points were going this month!

 

Thank you for the maximum, looks like Triflonimbia is becoming a bit of thing !

So late on this, but I suppose this gives Trifoski a little time to rest aside their sour grapes and try to put on their optimistic faces (at least as optimistic as one could be here)

I guess it was a little foolish of me. To enter a track that sets out to UPLIFT, that sets out to INSPIRE, and sets out to MESMERISE. For those who understand what I was trying to accomplish here, and lumped their support behind 'Major Happy, I deeply thank each and every one of you. It is people like you who truly make this contest worthwhile

For the most part though, what did I receive in return? A 20TH PLACE FINISH. This is nothing short of an INSULT!





Well since Trifoski are in one of those rough patches where anything we enter does badly (though just a few months ago anything we entered finished in the top 10. Proof that it works both ways then), we really don't have anything to lose at the moment, do we......?

So with April came the launch of a new season of My Little Pony: FiM, thus the temptation of entering an MLP song, one of my old favourites from 2012, was too good to resist (plus with Bignia & Séyetana kicking up a bandwagon of sorts from the two previous months, it gave me ALL the more reason). Of course entering a song directly from the show (not dance-remixed or anything) was always gonna go one way in terms of a result. And with that result being inevitable I wasn't really that bothered by it. Reminder to anyone who didn't like our entry- y'all allowed Major Happy to flop, YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELVES. But of course, huge thanks again to anyone who did show their love and support for Babs! In essence this has been a 'month-off' for Trifoski (except without actually taking the month off) with a totally fun, un-BJSC friendly entry. And with that we'll likely be back on the more serious side of things for May, and I guarantee it won't be a letdown!

Oh yeah, and it's Trifoski's 25th entry next month, our SILVER anniversary if you will! :o Time will tell if anything significant comes of this~

Our good friends Persephonia won the latest contest with A-WA's "Habib Galbi". Very pleased for them, and don't you think it's only right we get back-to-back Trifosephonia/Persefoski contests? You guys know it needs to happen ^.^
