Xmas was over, radio had some hot new singles to play and they were both Chinn-Chapman hit machine products. Instant fave was The Sweet, followed by Mud, and a boost for previous Mud single. Bubble Rock go Top 10, but otherwise the xmas period was waiting for the new year and those record tokens to be spent - both my brother and myself had one from grandma, I think, so which single would we each buy in January....? tbc
