The kids of New Directions go head-to-head in a boys vs. girls mash-up competition using the music of the movies. Santana’s snooping results in two shocking discoveries.

MASH-UP WEEK! *.*

Songs already confirmed:

"Come What May" (from Moulin Rouge) - Kurt and Blaine

"Sparkling Diamonds / Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" (from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes)

Also, there's the possible

Finn and Emma

romance in this episode. Emma's parents are back though, which should be hilarious! :D

Oh for God's sake. -_-

Apparently the other songs are (from Glee wiki, so to be taken with a pinch of salt but they can't be 100% wrong I'm sure):

Footloose by Kenny Loggins (Artie/Sam/Joe)

You're All The World To Me by Fred Astaire (Emma/Will)

Shout by The Isley Brothers/Lulu (Brittany/Blaine)

In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel (Unique/Will)

Unchained Melody (Jake/Ryder)

Old Time Rock N Roll/Danger Zone by Bob Seger/Kenny Loggins (Blaine/Sam)

Not a great songlist if true :/ Only really like the look of Shout from those, maybe Old Time Rock N Roll because I usually like Blaine songs. Obviously can't judge yet but I never really like Artie, Joe, Sam or Will :( I am looking forward to the Diamonds mash-up (apparently sung by Marley and Unique) though as well as Come What May given Klaine duets never fail to impress.

I was REALLY hoping the

Finn/Emma

stuff would just go away though after what happened in Diva. But then I guess they have to resolve it.

"Footloose" and "Unchained Melody"! *.* Of the others, I only know "Shout"! I'm interested in the episode's concept though, hopefully it won't be a car crash, like Glee, Actually was.

Oh, and this episode will be the first shown after the mid-winter break - with a date of 7 March.

The

Finn & Emma

thing is rubbish, unoriginal and bland! The

one kiss, I could deal with. But the "possibility" of an Emin relationship... GOOD GOD.

"Shout" will be the 500th musical performance in the show. :o

And can the show end after next season please if the storylines are becoming this awful. :(

In the “Girls (And Boys) on Film” episode of GLEE (9:30-10:30 PM ET/PT), airing at a special time, the glee club’s latest assignment is to choose a song from a movie and the members of New Directions sing the hit series’ landmark 500th musical performance with their rendition of the “Animal House” anthem “Shout.” Meanwhile in New York, Santana (Naya Rivera) makes herself at home in the loft a little too quickly for Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) comfort.

The songs have been confirmed. The 'Diamonds' mash-up has ONCE AGAIN changed to "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend / Material Girl" (which should be amazing), but apart from that, all of the other songs are featured (although the performers have yet to be confirmed).

I wasn't a huge fan of the episode overall, but I loved Will's song to Emma and their scenes afterwards, and the Jake/Ryder and Marley Ghost scene was fab! The girls' mash-up could've been so much better without a female lead, but in a group of females, you can still hear the male tone in Alex Newell's voice which spoiled it for me.
