Yes Changes is being stocked in HMV and Virgin. In fact when I bought my copy in Virgin yesterday, the assistant tried to tell me the album was being released next week. Don't think he believed me when I said it wasn't :D

 

No news as yet and I don't suppose there will be until tomorrow, what with the Bank Holiday. I'm trying to be realistic though and not hoping for too high a chart position.

 

I've listened to Darren's new track several times Baytree and I really like it. Hope he does well with his album later in the year. I shall be buying it.

In my small woolies today the single was standing at no,.5 but those on the shelf had been turned around backwards so I corrected that. Incidentally if anyone followed the Macdonald bros. there album debuted at no.6 but according to the daily record it is no.1 in scotland.

The McDonald brothers are ding really well, with no promotion, but I suppose there was the tour and they went down a storm on it. Good luck to them, I liked them on X-factor, thought Simon was horrible to them, anf they sang better then some others.

Hopefully more adult music buyers will still prefer CDs to downloads and Changes will do well, with Asda and Woolworth both backing it.

 

Looks like I was right - no.163 on downloads only last week and up to no. 14 today! That's impressive.

I caught a bit of LK Today when I was checking my video, preparing to record Darius on This Morning.

 

They showed a tiny snippet of Gareth singing at a big celebrity fashion show LK's team had organised. It was to celebrate high street fashion. Lorraine stressed how good Gareth sounded.

 

It's so nice to see him back up there.

I wish I could have captured it and made out what Gareth was singing but it was totally unexpected and I just wasn't quick enough with the record button.

 

I'll nip over to Wenn and Getty for a little look then!

He was singing Pictures Of The Other Side, the title song from the album, but apparently he did a whole set. Would love to have been there to hear it :heart:

The video has gone to the music channels this week and Radio 2 have added AOMS to their B-list today.

 

I hope he gets better play by the Music Channels and Radio this time.
