There are always certain radio stations who dont play some people, and we do know that.

Changes is definitely coming out on 9th April.

You never can tell with Joe Mott, but I wonder if he's referring to a second more rocky single at the end of May. Those who went to the secret gig say there are several rocky songs on the album, so it could well be

EXCELLENT! I for one will be buying it... :cheer:

Oh... fantastic :(

I know you'll know about this but, it was on the GMTV newsletter today.

Thanks Megham. I did know about it, but unfortunately won't be able to take part. I shall be at work :( I'm just praying the interview and performance will be on before I have to go. Will record it, but its not the same as watching live is it.

You never know though, I just may be lucky enough to get a bad head that day

Really looking forward to the Jonathan Ross show tonight  Its on at 10.35.

I saw gareth on JR show too, I thought he did great.

I am not sure about the song changes though,

I did however catch Angel on my shoulder in the car, didnt recognise gareth at first, I was thinking that darren Hayes had a comeback single, it really reminded my of his vocals and the song Insatible in places, it wasnt till I caugth the lyric angel on my shoulder it started to click having read the forums, then the DJ announced that was gareth and he was making a comeback. unbiasedly I liked the song, although I did think it was a little unspectacular as a comeback from darren but thought he was trying for the same sound as insatiable as that was a big hit. LOL..so I wasnt being influenced by the thought of who was singing it at all.

I love changes, but its a grower, and I agree with Angel on my shoulder being more catchy instandly. Love that one.
Changes is available for download this week. I'm hanging out for the physical but I hope to see it in the download chart later this week.

I doubt you will Baytree. Wasn't even available on iTunes until today

The B-side `Lovesong' is just beautiful

I'm not going to cheat, val4jadan. I'm going to wait to hear the b-side, Lovesong, when I have the CD in my hand. The anticipation is part of the pleasure.

In truth I always go straight to the b-sides on D's when I buy them. Then I play any extra video footage and lastly the video of the A-side.

Got my copy of Changes today. It's the Single Of The Week in Asda and the first CD your eyes catch in the Singles section. But the clowns have been out already. There were only a couple of CDs in his rightful position. I found another bundle of seven squeezed into the corner of the 2nd bottom shelf, so I put them back up on the Single Of The Week spot where they should be.

I actually think I'll be playing Love Song more often than Changes. I love the guitar on that and it's nice to see it's played by Gareth himself. I've always wanted Darius to record an acoustic album.

See, I told you you'd like Lovesong.

Gareth has had lots of input into this release. He plays Electric and Accoustic Guitar and Synthesizer on Changes as well as playing Piano.

Bit disappointed about the downloads, but hopefully things will improve this week.

I'm a sucker for acoustic tracks. I actually like the 'b' side better. It is a lovely song. It's down as #4 in Woolies. 'Lovesong' really shows his voice off. This one I'll have in my permanant playlist.

No one I've spoken to has ever heard either though. All the singles are hidden in our Woolies but the sales assistant was really positive about Gareth.

I think he's got his work cut out to make any impact the way things have been going Megham

Glad you like Lovesong. I've had it on repeat all morning

How sad are some people? As if Gareth has not enough stacked against him with no air play and video play to speak of?

I love Lovesong too, so glad you like it, and I love the guitar playing on it (so pleased to find its Gareth himself), it was the first I noticed.

I do hope he will not do too badly in the charts. :

Hopefully more adult music buyers will still prefer CDs to downloads and Changes will do well, with Asda and Woolworth both backing it. I haven't been to HMV or Virgin. What's the situation there? Keeping my fingers crossed for good physical sales.

PS: I hope Gareth's fans will forgive the intrusion but have you seen/heard the new Darren Hayes track posted in I think the Pop Forum, pip?
