Posted February 21, 201312 yr BILLBOARD RULE CHANGE, "SCREAM & SHOUT" SLIPS TO #4 http://www.breatheheavy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/toxic-billboard-scream-and-shout-britney.jpg The Billboard Hot 100 is now including YouTube data streaming in the chart’s methodology, making singles who barely cracked the Top 10 sky rocket to number one. Britney is one of many artists who could’ve changed the game years ago if YouTube existed/counted, including a #1 for “Toxic,” which only peaked at #9 nearly a decade ago. Speaking of Billboard, “Scream & Shout” falls 3-4 on the Hot 100 this week. “It climbs 6-5 on Radio Songs (98 million, up 3%) and 7-4 on Streaming Songs (4.8 million) but plummets 2-10 on Digital Songs (158,000, down 3%). It passes 2 million downloads sold to date.” Source: BREATHE HEAVY
