I'd have been strongly considering sending Zedd's Follow You Down had I discovered it a few months earlier but it would be a pretty bloody cheap entry now, what with the UK success of Clarity and how well Follow You Down has already been received across the forum, blowing up on a load of the personal charts already! Yes it would go top five with ease but I'm hoping it's swiftly vetoed by the mods when ten people inevitably fight each other to confirm it!

I think I've got my entry, just hoping it doesn't suddenly explode before the confirmation as it sounds awesome. I've still got a couple of good backups anyway so it's not all bad news if I don't get this song.

I've heard so many songs that sound like total smashes recently, wouldn't surprise me if this is a very competitive month. I have an entry, but quite a risky one - I know I thought that with this month's entry, but this seems a lot bigger, I'm certain at least one other person will be after this, and I'd imagine it being very borderline veto-worthy as well...gonna try my luck anyway and just hope for the best, I mean, just the NAME is so appropriate for my country :( :P

 

is there a new green room opening soon btw? just so maybe there'd be a better place to discuss this? :P

Picked entry for LII now, really hope this can be a SMASH. (although i do wonder how many people on here know about it already....)

 

I think i have mahbackup ready now too (lord knows i'm gonna need it).

Got two tracks for the next one. Really hope I can get my first choice this time as I think hope it'll appeal to more people than 'Tattoo' did. The chorus... *.*

 

However, I'm fully expecting someone else to confirm it before me. :lol: (my back up would effectively make up the numbers and possibly appeal to only a handful but who knows)

Phil (Silas) did post something saying nothing can start until 1st March at the earliest. At a guess the confirmations could open this weekend but we have no Green Room thread to get things going. :( (we're all recycling Tom's one although recycling is good so woo! \o/ )

Yeah I said March 1st because there is a mandatory weeks gap between contests and the temporary moderators needed to be worked out and in place before we could begin this contest.

 

We haven't heard provisional dates yet but I can't foresee any issues.

Ah yes he did! Hopefully it'll open soon, but like you say we need a Green Room first. I guess there's nothing stopping confirmations opening very quickly after the Green Room is opened! :D

Technically speaking, we don't need a green room. Although it's a long standing tradition we like to uphold as it has it's uses as a more off-topic discussion thread for the month than the main contest threads would allow.

He informed John when he reached out for dates that he was currently very busy but has told us he shall have dates for us as soon as possible. So I'm assuming he is hosting again this month.

 

 

Knowing Leww he's probably trying to beat his incredible graphics from last time :lol:

 

 

He'll have dates for us when he can, until then patience is king of the hill ^_^
