Imagine Feel would have been released in the social media days. I see it with some more views. :-) Great achievement nevertheless.

I think that Feel is a song which would be very successful these days either. If Rob would be his young self he would have a huge hit. On the other hand I am not sure how his personality would fit in these Always political correct surface world...as long as you do not dig deeper. This Harvey Weinstein case shows it so evidently. People who now come up but have been silent over the years for various reasons.

That happens when thoughts mix up.

The connection in my mind: Feel, 100 million views, success on YouTube with an old song, success on YouTube if Robbie would be a star of the YT generation.

My thought: He would be huge.

Then there is another thought: ...maybe not...because he is not political correct, and some of what Rob did and does with female fans like in Knebworth or with this girl's butt signed and so on would be called as political very incorrect these days.

It is not a comparison to Weinstein as in his case, I think those who covered what he did are as much to blame as him. And he did, what he did against the will of the women.

But nevertheless sensitive minds might see Rob's behaviour in the past different than the fans do these days. The stars of these days are very stream lined. Even their scandals are a bit flat.

Does this explain my thoughts :-).

I wonder when UTR 2 will be out and if he will then at least is been seen again. There are picturesin the internet with Rob picking up Teddy. New pictures. He looks good. Noth thin or something like you expect after a severe illness.

In the moment I have the impression that he had an illness aside of the disc, but after Ayda and the kids left for LA the energy was simply gone to move on. There is no reason not to give fans some kind of statement weeks ago. It is funny to read in teh FB groups right now, good fans, bad fans, annoyed and relieved fans, fans in disbelief.

The Robbie world is special.

I think a statement wasn't put out at the start and then it became too late to put one out so there is a bit of an elephant in the room concerning the cancelled gigs.

 

We'll probably find out one day what happened. I wondered if he'd had the op on his back and that was why there was quietness but I think it's just time out after a hectic tour. I was glad to see him looking so well in the pap photo even though I'm sure he wouldn't have been happy about it being taken.

I have seen several photos on FB which I find really sad especially the one where Robbie has his hand out to the person taking the pic as if to say ' look what you have done to my little girl ' , she looked frightened so I guess the paps scared her.

I have given up caring as to the reason the tour was cancelled , he looks fine & obviouslywill not be back until next year so that's that. He at least got through most of the shows when at the beginning we thought he would never do it given the condition of his back & the fact that he injured it again in that Paddy McGunness show just before the start of the tour. I feel sorry for the fans in Russia, they must have been bitterly disappointed but I am sure he will go back there at some stage. I feel sorrier for Ed Sheeran who has fractured bones in both arms & cannot play his guitar & has had to cancel several of his shows right from the beginning & that is a lot worse imo.
