A good job? Did you see him in the diary room falsely reacting to everything?

I'm loving the tenshun here. Poor Sallie thinking it's a double bluff.

He'll have been given a script and a character to play. Before the housemates were shown the feed he was terrible, but after that it was good. Believeable, all the housemates fell for it hook, line and sinner.

Yeah but being a professional actor, you'd think he'd be at least some good, and not just completely hopeless. :P But he'll hopefully get better, and more devious.

Don't forget he's supposed to be nervous having only just met the others. Besides, he is 28 and totally unknown so he's not likely to be Oscar-winning standard.

Do the housemates know that this is subtitled Secrets and Lies? Those cases clearly weren't full of anything!

My favourites so far are Sam and Sophie, although I wouldn't be surprised at all if that changed quickly. Glad to see there'll be a healthy total of 16 housemates though :D

Not really the first mother and daughter.

The first on regular BB! I think everyone has repressed the memories of Jade (RIP) and Jackiey :(

If I was there my first thought would be that my suitcase was empty/fake so I wouldn't be worried.

Maybe that's why they are all pretty laid back with it.

AJ's voice on Bit on the Side is really annoying me, but Rylan looks like he's gonna be really good on the show!

I'm loving almost all of the housemates so far; callum sounds like a right c**t, and dexter sounds like a dickhead as well although at least he's intersting I suppose. wolfy, sophie and especially michael sound great, I'm especially looking forward to seeing how much the latter will mix things up.

although my absolute favourites so far are the twins. they're cuuuute.

You can tell both this lass and Rylan are inexperienced at TV work. Both so awful, Rylan less so, but definite auto-que warriors.

The woman is really bad for the Auto queue, Rylan is doing well so far imo

Emma is rather brilliant as a host isn't she? It's good to see this hosted by someone decent again.

Really? She was nice enough, but I thought she was pretty dry as far as TV hosts go. I think I was hoping for someone as bubbly as Davina.

I have a suspicious the secret will fall flat on its face, or already has... I think it works best to let the housemates get to know each other first and add the tension later.

Also HOW can somebody be deaf, and yet still have learnt to speak with such a strong Welsh accent?!

AJ Odudu's voice is f***ed up looooooooooooool

I think the twins are the youngest ever housemates, no one born after 1993 has ever been in Big Brother before.

We don't have Channel 5 in Ireland so I've been unable to watch this since it finished on Channel 4, but I just found this on Youtube and I'm hooked. *.* Judging by her entrance, Sallie will be probably be a massive gobshite. I'm getting GRACE vibs off her.

Jesus. Michael is from Cork. That's enough of a reason for me to dislike him.

I. Love. Wolfy. Love Sam as well.

Dexter is an absolute mong.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Michael in Black Mirror: White Bear as the man that tried to kill Victoria in the forest, but I've done a search and that actor's name was Michael Smiley, and the Big Brother 'version' is Michael Dylan - unless he's been asked to change his second name so that none of the contestants would easily be able to guess that he is an actor, having possibly seen him on TV?

Short review ~

Jemima seems a little unhinged  Definitely one to keep an eye on for all the wrong reasons (unless she's first out (very likely))

WOLFIE *.*

Sam could potentially be a rare good-looking AND likeable housemate. PLEASE don't let Callum be the NU Connor :(

YES Knew i could rely on Lee and Rob to get behind Dexter too - easily the best in there so far. Smooth and sleazy

Really liking the twist, can't believe they've taken this long to do it tbh. And disagree with most comments about the quality of the housemates, i really don't think any of them are dispensible so far which is rare for a launch night :o Whether they live up to their potentials remains to be seen though but a very good mix of ages/characters etc.

AND THE SHREDDER THING ARGH AMAZING especially with Sallie the firecracker showing some early spark already yay.

Would have been better if it was their actual suitcases.

I really don't think it would have. We've seen in the past that they drastically lose all their personalities in tasks where they have everything taken away from them. Their stuff is pretty essential to bringing out their characters so i'm glad it wasn't the actual suitcases.
