Posted March 15, 201312 yr With the recent release of Skyfall. Out of curiousity what's your fave 007 film. Edited March 16, 201312 yr by Robadonna
March 15, 201312 yr Tomorrow Never Dies, closely followed by The Spy Who Loved Me. I know neither are popular opinions and the former is for all intents and purposes a remake of the latter but I love them both SO much. *cue Jark once more being a prissy little bitch and slagging my choix*
March 16, 201312 yr From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and Skyfall are clearly the best films but my favourite remains Live And Let Die. It may have Roger Moore in it but that is counter balanced by Jane Seymour and Baron Samedi

It might be my #2 actually.
March 16, 201312 yr In fact, I'll just rank the whole lot for the fun of it 01 Tomorrow Never Dies 02 The Spy Who Loved Me 03 Moonraker 04 Skyfall 05 You Only Live Twice 06 Thunderball 07 Goldfinger 08 The World Is Not Enough 09 Diamonds Are Forever 10 Goldeneye 11 A View To A Kill 12 Live And Let Die 13 For Your Eyes Only 14 Die Another Day 15 Octopussy 16 From Russia With Love 17 Dr. No 18 The Man With The Golden Gun 19 Casino Royale 20 On Her Majesty's Secret Service 21 License To Kill (even for the ironic lols this film is still an absolute stone cold MESS and Dalton the worst Bond, by far) 22 The Living Daylights 23 Quantum Of Solace
March 16, 201312 yr I do like a good rank: 1 Goldeneye 2 Moonraker 3 On Her Majesty's Secret Service 4 Goldfinger 5 Dr. No 6 Skyfall 7 Tomorrow Never Dies 8 Live And Let Die 9 A View To A Kill 10 You Only Live Twice 11 Diamonds Are Forever 12 The Spy Who Loved Me 13 From Russia With Love 14 Casino Royale 15 Die Another Day 16 Thunderball 17 The Living Daylights 18 License To Kill 19 The World Is Not Enough 20 The Man With The Golden Gun 21 For Your Eyes Only 22 Octopussy 23 Quantum Of Solace
March 16, 201312 yr Quantum of Solace is a better film than maybe half of them, it's just not a Bond film. Casino Royale, Goldfinger, The Living Daylights and The World Is Not Enough are my immediate standouts (or have been at various points in my childhood).
March 16, 201312 yr Quantum of Solace is utterly forgettable. The story is boring, the girl and the villain leave no impression at all. The only scenes I even vaguely remember are the opening chase, the opera scene and the desert one at the end with the oil can. I would probably take a memorably bad film over a forgettably average one, so that's right at the bottom of the pile for me. The World is Not Enough, whilst not a truly great film, has plenty of moments and the snowy locales are pure Bond. In visual terms it's a bloody beautiful film, you've got a fantastic villain (and a great twist on that front), two gorgeous Bond girls who actually impact on the plot rather than being purely eye candy, and of course the sublime Valentine Zukovsky plus an enjoyably slippery Goldie as a henchman. It's just a shame the overall tone of the film is a bit off, like it doesn't know whether it's supposed to be serious or ridiculous so tries to be both. But the final line of the film is OUTRAGEOUSLY fab. 8.5/10 at the very least, and a considerable improvement on the turgid Tomorrow Never Dies.
March 16, 201312 yr TWINE has THE BEST (ie. worst) puns of the entire series. I cringe (and laugh) everytime they say the Christmas line, but I think it fits the tone of the film.
March 16, 201312 yr Another Moonraker fan, YAY *.* One probably one of my most watched films as a kid. I adore the soundtrack still.
March 16, 201312 yr 1 Goldfinger 2 On Her Majesty's Secret Service 3 Skyfall 4 Live And Let Die 5 Goldeneye 6 Casino Royale 7 The World Is Not Enough 8 The Spy Who Loved Me 9 From Russia With Love 10 Dr. No 11 You Only Live Twice 12 Diamonds Are Forever 13 Thunderball 14 The Man With The Golden Gun 15 Die Another Day 16 Moonraker 17 Tomorrow Never Dies 18 A View To A Kill 19 Octopussy 20 For Your Eyes Only 21 The Living Daylights 22 License To Kill 23 Quantum Of Solace Timothy Dalton was a rather shit Bond.
