UK Bass producer Sub Focus has a new single coming out called "Endorphins". It features Alex Clare of "Too Close" fame. On first listen it's quite nice, very different to his previous singles.

 

 

What do you think of it? Where will it chart officially?

Ah, 'feat. Alex Clare', that's more like it. Saw this in the New Release Schedule without the feature listed and thought this was going to be an instrumental a.k.a. chart suicide. This could finally get him a top 10 hit.

Poor Sub Focus. Going down the Calvin Harris route of ignoring the exciting sounds that made him a joy to listen to by releasing something so utterly generic. What I wouldn't give to have another "Rock It" or "Splash".

Everyone that I know at my school loves Tidal Wave, so he was obviously going to go down the route of releasing a generic song that was reminiscent of his recent material.

Alex Clare's voice is all kinds of awesome, so that's a plus

 

Unfortunately it's about the only "plus" i can decipher from this track, very forgettable/generic production. Shame, since a collab like this had some real potential (although it'll be nice to see Alex score another chart hit, maybe he can manage some kind of proper breakthrough in the near future?)

 

It's pretty nice. He seems to be doing like DJ Fresh. First big mainstream hit is drum & bass, then they follow it up with a 140 track.
