I'm slightly DISAPPOINTED at how well I did in the semi actually, I'd assumed I had just done a Danaelanda and barely scraped through before proceeding to do better in the final. Going from 6 to 0 in three entire countries (Cadelicia, Kylienips, B.a.N.G) :( I have to say though I was kind of expecting Casey to like 'Pacifica' so it's at least encouraging to know that he did to a certain extent in the semi at least.

 

(Also managed to scrape a hold on to points (well, 1 point) from Aeroche and Trifoski though and even gain a point from N DNTN so it's not all bad).

 

Loving that 12-12-12-4-3-2-2-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-1 points split. More voters than 'Stars' got which seems odd as it's clearly a fairly niche song if the only 3 people who gave it more than four points all gave it 12. Tempted to scout through old results tables to see if 5 is a record for either number of 2s or number of 1s :kink:

 

Anyway aside from rambling about my own semi performance, wow at Tinnmark slaying semi-final 1 so much - quite reminiscent of 'The Mother We Share' really. And go on Aquafina and Trifoski doing great in the semi too :D Even in a supposed 'indie' semi rather shocked to see Zara only came FIFTH in the semi!

Dropping from 8th to 20th is heartbreaking. :(

Oh delighted to finish pretty much exactly where I'd hoped, never expected to be top 10 but was hoping to sneak in the top half. Three 12s too! :D

 

Not a terrible winner but not something I'd ever likely to vote for, a shame 'Overdose' couldn't manage it.

Dark Motion definitely grew to be one of my favourites of this contest, and will probably last much longer in my affections than my other faves. Also quite astonished at Aquafina's drop from semi-to-final (i think he "wins" :o)

 

I have TWO songs lined up for the next contest *.* [/HYPE]. One is VERY MAUSI-esque (but with MALE vocals) and the other is the complete opposite (not happy or care-free), so I may just choose depending on my mood when confirmation comes around...

:o at how well Tinnmark did in the semi! Is that the second biggest points total after 'Look Back' by Tone Damli? (144). Also Unovia should be greatful for the 8 random.org gave them via me! Although I probably still would have voted for them after listening to all the songs, just probably a 3 at most which would have put Greenfroze through.

Bizarre semi results, so much changed! Batidas weren't looking set for a win at all! Relieved I didn't just scrape through again!

I went from 2nd to 10th in the final, which is a tad disappointing, but it seems that the problem wasn't that I lost semi 2 votes - in fact for many my scores increased - but I simply failed to pick up many semi 1 votes at all! I probably would've DNQ'd if I was in that one...
