February 2, 201411 yr I guess this goes to show there really is hope for anyone who needs a career revival...
February 3, 201411 yr As much as I love Sophie's dance/pop songs, I always felt that the genre prevents her from shining.
February 3, 201411 yr Nice sales for Sophie with 8.5k being for sold for the single and for the album. Overall album sales are just short of 20k. She might even get a silver status after its active (charting in the top-200) period of sales at the rate it is going. The second single release will also help that hopefully.
February 4, 201411 yr I'm really loving the idea of 'Runaway Daydreamer' being the second single, it's gorgeous and SO much better than 'Young Blood'. Edited February 4, 201411 yr by Silver Rocket
February 4, 201411 yr i would love more birth or camera or wrong side but if it sells album i;m good :D
February 5, 201411 yr Single #35, album #10 on Tuesday's midweek. I am glad that it climbs further, if they release "runaway daydreamer" in not too distant future, it could go Top 20!
February 5, 201411 yr I am glad that it climbs further, if they release "runaway daydreamer" in not too distant future, it could go Top 20! I'm doubtful we'd see 'Runaway Daydreamer' go anywhere tbh as much as I like it. Isn't she performing again on Friday I hear?
February 5, 201411 yr Who knows what will happen with the second single, I mean she's taken me completely by surprise with everything about this campaign so far and it's far stronger. I think she's performing on Alan Carr this week :D
February 6, 201411 yr Author It's really pleasing to see the album do so well. It's a great record, her best since 'Trip...' for sure. 'Runaway Daydreamer' would be a great 2nd single. I really love '13 Little Dolls' as well!
February 9, 201411 yr Album down to #9, Single down to #40, I'm almost spot-on with my predictions. :D I think though we'll have a slump-ish week next time, as the hype is naturally dying, and there is no promo to help out anymore.
February 9, 201411 yr Third week in the top 10. :D I saw her at G-A-Y last night and she was ace, this was her setlist: Murder On The Dancefloor Young Blood Runaway Daydreamer (first time she had performed it anywhere, apparently) Get Over You Groovejet/Lady (Hear Me Tonight)/Sing It Back Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) Yes Sir, I Can Boogie I could see the crowd all talking to each other and ignoring her during the two Wanderlust tracks, whilst not too surprising given the venue it is I did feel quite bad for her.
