I like it, trending second worldwide on Twitter, wow! If this does chart well then she will be the definition of a surprise star after not winning x factor and everything, not that the winners have great chart success

I like it, trending second worldwide on Twitter, wow!

Wow! That's fantastic! :cheer:

The lyric video also has over 10,000 views in just 24 hours which I think is quite incredible considering the situation!

It's just occurred to me what part of the chorus (the 'I'd lose both my shoes' bit) reminds me of (in a good way)...the bridge on 'Everything I Hate' by Holly Candy (nee Valance). Still love this BTW.
I probably would like if this was still 2011, but I've gone off her so much since then. This is just too typical of her really. :(

I love it :D can't stop playing it

The lyric video now almost has 60,000 views in just 5 days! :o Can't believe how many views it has got, shows that there is still a lot of interest in Diana! :cheer:

Also, Diana is featured in Digital Spy's "10 tracks you need to listen to" this week, and the article is being advertised on the home page with Diana as the main artist they are mentioning as well as using her picture for the article on the home page! You can read the article here!

Finally, Diana has mentioned on Facebook and Twitter that she has been doing some acoustic filming, so very much looking forward to seeing that!

So the lyric video is now up to 95,000 views (:o) and I think I've found the reason why!

I was watching the new David Guetta video, and the Cinderella lyric video is being advertised by VEVO on the right hand side of the video in the "Carry You" playlist along with Union J, David Guetta, Bastille and Two Door Cinema Club! To test whether it was just those 5 videos, or all VEVO videos I just loaded up Ashley Roberts' video and Will.i.am's new video and Diana's video is still there on the right hand side! This must mean that any VEVO video watched will have 'Cinderella' being advertised for the time being! This is incredible news and gets loads more people knowing about Diana's new single! :o :cheer:

It all depends on which video you watch as I've never seen it being advertised

Yeah I've tried a few more and it is being advertised on some and not on others! Still fantastic though, and 50,000 views in the space of a day shows this is going to be brilliant promotion for the song!
Am I right in saying Miranda Cooper (ex of Xenomania) is behind this one?

Yes! She co-wrote it with Diana, Simen Eriksrud and Simone Eriksrud! :D

Over 150,000 views now, just incredible! :o Can't wait to see the official music video now and I hope that gets the same VEVO promotion!
I hope this does well enough for her to release a new album!

I hope this does well enough for her to release a new album!

It's already confirmed for an Autumn release and its already finished, so I hope it'll be released no matter how the single does as there is less pressure on the single performance due to her being signed to an independent label! I hope it does really well too though, just to make sure this album does get released! :kink:

Nothing to do with this song but Diana as landed her first TV acting job

DIANA VICKERS has bagged her first telly acting gig – in a new comedy about a group of promotions girls.

The X Factor semi-finalist, nicknamed The Claw for her hand gestures on the ITV show in 2008, will star in Give Out Girls later this year on Sky Living.

Singer Diane – who has dated 2008 X Factor finalist Eoghan Quigg – has been making a push into acting since coming fourth on the show and bagging a No1 single in 2010 with Once.

She starred in a West End production of The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice in late 2009 and won the award for London Newcomer Of The Year at the Theatregoers’ Choice Awards. But this will be her first television role.

She will star alongside Kerry Howard, of BBC3 sitcom Him & Her, and former EastEnders actress Tracy-Ann Oberman in the six-part series about a group of four girls who have to promote various products.

Diana told TV Biz: “I’m so excited about doing my first comedy show.

“It’s different from any acting I’ve done before.

“The script is hilarious – I was laughing my head off just reading it. The rest of the cast are great, we all have really good chemistry.

“I can’t wait to get in front of the camera and start filming.”

I wonder if Diana will be getting slots on Celebrity Juice and This Morning with this album. You don't normally need to be huge to get on those shows and they do help in terms of promotion.

That's fantastic news regarding her first TV acting job! :D And yeah I think she'll be able to get on the likes of This Morning and Daybreak.

Also yesterday she filmed what seems to be the second part of the 'Cinderella' music video! Here are a couple of the photos that seem to be from the filming!

She's looking so good!

Having said that, I do miss that little hippy girl that walked into that XF audition room 5 years ago.

:o That looks so beautiful, can't wait to see this video! A release in 3 weeks would work perfectly too, that'll be the typical 6-7 weeks before the release as most artists do!
