yeah i remember Once vid was released around the start of march 2010 and the single was released late april so it would be great timing!! Plus since Diana is filming her tv series in manc all this month, shell have very little time to promote so a great push at the start of june will help!

I didn't know when she was filming her new TV series, so if that's the case then end of May/beginning of June will be exactly the perfect time for the video release and beginning of promotion! I assume she'll do a radio tour or something, I hope so anyway! I'm so excited!!!! :cheer:

So I'm off up to Manchester this Sunday for about a month filming for Give out girls! Eek Im a bit nervous about leaving London, but I'm so looking forward to it!

If you are signed up to Diana's mailing list, you will now have access to a video of Diana performing 'Cinderella' acoustically as well as a link to a free download of the acoustic version! It's brilliant as always! :wub:

I have this feeling the album wont get an official release and will end up as a download release. I see on the new release schedule its date its on the list of coming soon.

The album will be released in Autumn as confirmed by her record label So Recordings. It could be a download-only release, but I think that they will release a physical version too as they have done for Matt Cardle's 'The Fire' who is on the same label.

They better give the album a proper release if they're gonna release it, although if 'Cinderella' bombs really badly (which it clearly will) I can see them getting cold feet.

Cinderalla i too can see bombing but i hope it can even manage top 100. I want the album to get a phyisical release but i just fear it will end up download only. Matt Cardles second album did so much better than expected and the physicals were the main seller.

Unless Diana promotes, I could see Cinderella missing the top 100. I think she should be taking advice from Titch and promote at as much radio stations as possible.

It is going to be very difficult for Diana to get a top 40 hit with this which is understandable and I think it is very unlikely Radio or Capital will playlist her. I remain optimistic that the likes of 4Music will play the video though! But I'm sure she will do what Tich did and go on radio tours nearer the release as it is still over 2 months away yet.

Any Eurovision fans reading this, is anyone finding Emelee Forest representing Denmark is very similar to Diana in both looks and vocals?

I think so too with the quirky vocals and looks, especially when comparing Emmelie to Diana when she was on X Factor. No surprise that I love Emmelie so much then! :lol:

I reckon this track could do really well for her, it seems to be getting a lot of support on here and over the web :)

Diana will be on Radio 1 on Sunday on the Matt Edmonson show for the first radio play of 'Cinderella'.

 

I reckon she will be doing a radio tour then if she's managed to get on Radio 1 again. Whether they'll playlist her remains to be seen (unlikely), but the fact she's getting some airplay on Radio 1 is good going seeing as she's been away from music for so long. I think the single will do alright for her. Her new label seem to be putting the most effort into her out of all the acts on their roster. She's always plastered all over their website!

Wow!! That's fantastic news that 'Cinderella's first radio play is going to be on Radio 1! :cheer: Hopefully she'll get some plays on there now like you say even if it doesn't get playlisted! :D

I imagine it'll be like when Dannii was on Radio 1 for the premiere of 'Touch Me Like That', touch it again they most certainly didn't.

Yeah, I think it is really impressive that she's managed to bag a Radio 1 interview and get the first official play on there after all this time. :) I imagine she'll be on TV as well promoting the single over the coming weeks.
