I love her personality! It is weird though, she came across so annoying whilst she was on X Factor.

i have to be honest, i cannot get into "Cinderella". it's just not got that go-back to edge about it.

To be fair, 'You Should Have Known' by Laura White, which got zero airplay anywhere, managed to chart at #27 so I think Diana could surprise everyone. After all, was anyone really expecting 'Once' to go to #1?

I think 'Cinderella' could actually go top 40, which for her is not bad going as I didn't expect to ever see her make the top 40 again.

 

If they release the album after the second single it will do even worse though, they may as well just get it out there.

I remember being a member of the official Diana Vickers forums, and I remember before release that I was just hoping for top 10 and the majority of the forum was too. We were constantly checked the iTunes music video chart to see if 'Once' was beating Chipmunk's 'Until You Were Gone' which we thought would be the other big release from that week and it was only when 'Once' was beating it on the music video chart then we thought it did have a chance of #1. Of course then I did not follow everything as closely as I do now on here, and in fact it was during the week that 'Once' was released that I first found this website when I was searching for iTunes information!

Diana is asking everyone on Twitter to make sure they are signed up to her newsletter by tomorrow as she has something special for us! :D

 

And today she has been at Chart Show TV filming an interview or something!

Diana has announced the full timetable for her 'Cinderella' radio tour next week where she will visit 25 different radio stations all over the country! You can check her Facebook events page for more details! :D

 

She's going to so many places! Quite a few of them are BBC Local Radio stations too. Hopefully this really helps and the iTunes pre-order can climb back into the top 1500 on iTunes pop! :D

Nowt for Essex. *le sad face* Why do major league pop artists (or just pop artists generally) avoid Essex completely on their radio tours? Olly and Loveable Rogues seem to be the only ones who come here with any regularity!

 

 

I've just received Diana's newsletter and it includes a free download of the full 6 minutes 45 seconds version of the 7th Heaven remix of 'Cinderella', you can hear the preview of the remix on the previous page.

 

Also, she has confirmed details of the radio tour and a new competition which invites fans to have their photo taken with Diana at the radio stations while wearing their favourite shoes - it's all to do with the 'Cinderella' theme of course! She will the choose her favourite pair of shoes from the photos that have been tweeted to her and the winner will receive £100 Topshop vouchers!

 

The 'Cinderella' music video has also now passed 700k views, with the lyric video over 250k views - so 950k combined! :D

 

And the song is now up to #1432 on pop iTunes, the first time it has been in the top 1500 on pop for weeks! (and now up to #1147!)

I finally met Diana today during her Cinderella radio tour! It was so amazing, Diana was so nice and she looked beautiful! :wub: I had my photo taken with her and she signed my 'Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree' CD, I am so so happy! :heart:

The 'Cinderella' pre-order is now #239 on pop iTunes, and #795 on the overall iTunes chart!! This is fantastic and it looks like Diana following people on Twitter who had pre-ordered the single has had a major effect! :D

Same here! I think if it can go top 75 that'll be fantastic and anything higher than that would be incredible. I think the highest a single released by So Recordings has managed is Matt Cardle's 'It's Only Love' which reached #175, so Diana should definitely beat that!

It really should've been. If she does go top 40 with no major radio station airplay and hardly any video airplay, that'd be incredible! Even if she manages to get top 40 in the midweek chart, I'll be just so happy to hear her mentioned and hopefully played in the radio update! :lol:

 

I think next week's release of Lucy Spraggan's 'Lighthouse' will give us a clue of how high Diana will enter on iTunes the following week. They both had similar initial peaks when the pre-order was released, Lucy around #150 and Diana around #220. Then for the majority of the rest of the time, they haven't been in the top 1500 - so it'll definitely be a good indicator I think.
