I love "Matador". It's just so fukkin' twisted..... :D

"Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown", "What Have I Done to Deserve This", "Live Flesh". "Kika", "Tie Me Up..." and "Bad Education" are all fantastic as well....

Going back to Spain and ditching Tom Cruise will probably turn out to be the best thing Penelope Cruz ever did.....

Volver was excellent, even though i was sitting in a theatre with some highbrow loon who giggled in an annoying laugh every 2 or so lines (apart from when the fart jokes came on)
Volver was brilliant- I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did! I haven't seen any other films by Almodovar though, can anyone recommend any particular ones?

That's kinda what the thread is trying to do...

I would recommend to a novice "Women on the Edge of a Nervous Breakdown", "What Have I Done To Deserve This" and "Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down" "All About My Mother" and "Bad Education". Later on try the more weird, twisted stuff like "Matador", "Live Flesh" and "Kika"...
