I have just realised they are not entering this year, why does anyone know? They always do well so i did not expect this.

They got scared because they realised the changes to the voting system and final order being somewhat managed meant they might not do very well so they left instead.

What changes to the voting system?

Err neither of those rule changes were set to happen when they withdrew... unless they knew on forehand obviously.

Turkey – On 14 December 2012, Turkish broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu (TRT) announced their withdrawal from the contest, citing dissatisfaction with the introduction of a mixed jury/televote voting system and the current status of the "Big Five"
