Paul hasn't let the pressure of being the front-man of Interpol get the better of him when it comes to his solo stuff (Julian Plenti & simply Paul Banks). Though unappreciated by most hardcore 'Pol fans, Paul has stayed true to his musical style & in my opinion produced two excellent albums, which could arguably rival much of the latter Interpol album releases. In January I caught one of his live solo shows in Manchester, in the very intimate Sound Control venue - With a very strong setlist, Paul looked to be really enjoying himself, which didn't seem to be the case in some of the latter Interpol appearances with the bands' makeshift bass players (& their many blunders). If you get the chance to see one of his solo shows live, I'd highly recommend it. If anyone else has seen him live (or Interpol for that matter), please, share your stories? va2fqBjwBGg x-JNg-eCe7c
