April 28, 201312 yr Definitely her worst album, truly awful. Save for 4 Minutes, Give It 2 Me, Miles Away and maybe at a push Devil... and Beat Goes On.

April 28, 201312 yr It's a shame that Give It 2 Me is tacked onto such a weak album. The other singles are very good too (Miles Away is a major tune), but the rest falls quite flat.

Amazing: 4 Minutes Give It 2 Me Heartbeat Devil Wouldn't Recognize You Voices Great: Miles Away Incredible (too long though) Spanish Lesson (terrible lyrics but great music/melody) Average: Candy Shop Ring My Bell Shιt: She's Not Me Beat Goes On Dance 2night Album cover/artwork is absolutely terrible and I blame it for flopping and not being taken seriously by people.

Amazing = Give It 2 Me, The Beat Goes On, Miles Away, Devil, Heartbeat, She's Not Me, 4 Minutes Good = Across The Sky, Ring My Bell, Incredible, Spanish lesson Average = Voices, Dance 2nite Totally hate the album cover and not a fan of the GITM video !

May 11, 201312 yr When listening back to the album, there's nowhere near as many tracks I thought I disliked. Confessions on a Dance Floor and MDNA are much better, but it's still a pretty great album. There are 6 highlights for me which is more than some other Madonna albums, with a further four being worthy album tracks. I think the singles were picked perfectly, there may have been a couple of songs I prefer in terms of quality but I don't think those would have worked as singles. '4 Minutes' has got capturing a younger audience and not being generic/cheesy pretty balanced, something 'Give Me Your Luvin'' perhaps didn't do quite so well. 'Give It 2 Me' is my favourite Hard Candy single and I would like Madonna to explore than dance/R&B style a bit more and 'Miles Away' is one which is fantastic live and causes a great atmosphere, and also one I sometimes overlook and don't realise how great it is until I hear it again. 'Beat Goes On' is quite catchy so I'm not too bothered with it being on the album, but 'Spanish Lesson' is quite bad and I would welcome one of the demos to have made the album if they are good enough. Candy Shop 11. Dance 2night 12. Spanish Lesson Major love for that top 3 and everything down to #07. is decent too. The rest though :manson: Makes me want to take part in a FULL Madonna rate. It's probably far too big a task to organise though, so i guess these album rates are enough :lol:
