I don't know how dependent on Spotify you guys are, but in Iceland this is currently the only reliable chart that shows what Icelanders are listening to, since its' launch in Iceland earlier this month. (We don't have iTunes Store here, just an App Store) Iceland is a really small nation, only 300k people so trying to monitor what we buy has very little use. What we listen to for free, however, is a whole other arm, and Spotify has become really popular here since its' release. So here I present to you the very first reliable music chart for Iceland!

It's good to see Frank Ocean and A$AP in there. Along with Alt-J. :heart:

Frank Ocean is really popular in Iceland. Especially after Söngkeppni Framhaldsskólanna (en: The College Song Contest), where the winner was a girl covering his song Pink Matter. (very beautiful, btw.) A$AP has gotten some huge airplay here and I think alt-J too, though I haven't heard much of it myself.

It's a shame to see Iceland people listening to the same shite as the rest of us - I thought they would be cooler than that.
