"Tom Sawyer", because he wasn't even bloody IN the original Alan Moore comics... He was placed in the film purely because the producers wanted an American character....  Pathetic.....

I dont think it's fair to include "Mr Furious", I mean, the Mystery Men film is supposed to be a spoof of the whole 'superhero' idea, and the characters in that film are meant to be a bit silly and useless....

Best film of that lot is "Mystery Men", because it is a pretty clever spoof.....

i liked Mystery Men a lot.

The Blue Raja was probably more useless, even though he was probably the best character along with the Spleen (pull my finger)

i think it probably made the list as it cost $h!tloads and didnt do as well at the box office as it should

(you should be able to pick the dvd up cheap mine was about £3, well worth having one less beer and cheaking this out)

I think the problem was that not many people out there are total Comics geeks and were probably baffled by the humour in it....

nah think the flaming carrot was a bit too leftfield and obscure for such a big budget film, where as superman, spider-man etc have that brand awareness already

Daredevil...his superpower? A slightly heightened sense of smell. I also think that Rogue from X-Men's pretty useless - don't get me wrong, her comic book character rules but in the film she's just lame.

I wanted to vote for X-Men as best film but it wasn't there. :(

well its what DVD Monthly (the one with the free trailerpark dvd not the one with all the horror/naughty stuff in) decided on.

Actually I would have liked to put Superman on the list as he's such a goody-goody he's the Ronan Keating of SF heros
