Commentary : This week sees a 1-2 for Pharrell as the Robin Thicke track "Blurred Lines" leapfrogs Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" to claim the top spot and this is likely to be a 1-2 that features in more international charts all over the world in the coming weeks. Romanian number one "Maribou" by Antonia goes from 6 to 4, the Jamaican chart topper "Cheerleader" by OMI rises from 8 to 6, the current number one in Lithuania "Lyja" by Sel rises from 16 to 10, Romanian singer Inna jumps from 18 to 14 and is currently number one in Argentina and Roy Kim's "Bom bom bom" rising from 20 to 16 in its 3rd week at the top of the Billboard K-Pop charts. The current Turkish download number one by Yalin enters at 20. In the week of Eurovision only the Italian entry by Marco Mengoni remains on my chart having been top in Italy but only peaking at 15 with me. The highest new entry is from Alejandro Fernandez and Christina Aguilera. It is a track that is a remake of a seventies song and is used on a telenovela. This is a first appearance in my chart for Mexican singer Alejandro Fernandes although he has sold over 30 million albums in a 20 year career. Christina Aguilera has charted for me 6 times previously with "Genie in a bottle", "Fighter", "Hurt", "Ain't no other man" and two tracks that went number one "Beautiful" in 2002 and "Candyman" in 2007. The other new entry at 17 is Kim Cesarion who has a pan Scandanavian hit with "Undressed".

Commentary : Second week at the helm for Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" whilst Daft Punk retain second place for a 3rd straight week with "Get Lucky". The collaboration of Alejandro Fernandez and Christina Aguilera on their remake of "Hoy tengo ganas de ti" leaps from 15 to 10 but the highest new entry crashes in at 11 for the song "La la la" the current download number one in the UK for Naughty Boy, born Shahid Khan whose career gained a boost when he used his winnings from an appearance on the TV show "Deal or no deal" to fund a recording studio. The other new entry is at 20 for German singer who peaked outside the Top 20 in her homeland with "I couldn't care less".
