Superstar supermom Beyoncé is expecting her second child with hubbyJay-Z, multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News.

 

The news follows rampant speculation that the "Countdown" songbird was pregnant, even as the couple remained tight-lipped about their ever-growing family.

 

I'm so happy for them! This all seems so out of the blue (ivy) though!

People are honestly believing E! News?! Who is she, a Kardashian?

I have seen a few rumours, so it's not just them! But happy for them nonetheless, if it is true which I can't see why it's not.

This would explain why we haven't heard an album yet.

Well it makes some sense... the lack of album/single, the rushed tour.

 

But it's a wasted opportunity, as she had a lot of promotion behind her.

According to the radio station Hot 97, the rap mogul said over email: "It's not true. The news is worse than blogs."

 

Jay-Z has denied reports his wife Beyoncé is pregnant with their second child, according to radio station Hot 97.

 

DJ Old Man Ebro said on the air Monday that he had emailed the rap mogul with his congratulations over the weekend, and "he hit me back and said it's not true." He quoted Jay-Z as saying: "It's not true. The news is worse than blogs."

 

Citing unnamed sources, E! News reported Friday that Beyoncé was expecting baby No. 2, apparently confirming rumours that had been swirling all over the internet after the 31-year-old singer cancelled a tour date in Antwerp, Belgium, because of "dehydration and exhaustion."

 

Beyoncé gave birth to the couple's first-born, daughter Blue Ivy, in January 2012, igniting a media fervour not seen since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's twins arrived in July 2008.

 

Her Mrs. Carter World Tour -- which kicked off last month in Belgrade, Serbia -- closes Aug. 5 at the Barclay's Centre in Brooklyn, Jay-Z's home town.

 

A rep for Beyoncé did not respond to THR's request for comment.
