April 9, 201411 yr Sorry, typo. 2002. It really was a terrible contest. Only 7 songs that I even LIKED, let alone loved. And the production and staging was horrible, I didn't get the whole aardvark/anteater thing that kept running across the screen. It gave a Jive Bunny vibe to the whole thing, which actually suited it because it had a 1989 aura to it everything looked so dated! Not a good representation of Estonia's hosting abilities at all! At least there were three great songs in the top three (counting both songs in joint third and obviously NOT Marie N).
