I'd only really started filling in the gaps in my Delta collection this past year and now have at least one version of every single except 'I Don't Care'.

Predictably, I love it. The pitch is a little higher than the official version will be, probably one of those stations that plays songs at a slightly higher pitch. As far as lead singles go, it's up there with Out Of The Blue and In This Life, she's well known for not leading the era with its strongest song, in fact she never has yet in my opinion. But yeah, breezy, instantly catchy and well produced, I love the artwork and look of the video and it's fantastic to hear that voice again. I'm very happy with it :D

 

(also forgive me Delta but the chorus melody really reminds of Jenny Frost's Crash Landing :lol:)

Wow, I think that's so weak! The chorus sounds like a pre-chorus and then... nothing. Damp squib central. The backing track sounds like a garageband concoction. In This Life was a million times the lead single this is!

Hmm, it's alright. It's the kind of thing I would expect to hear as album filler though, certainly not lead single worthy.

I feel like such a loon when Delta releases a lead single, completely lacking in objectivity. My objectivity returns to some extent when an album surfaces, certainly I didn't fall in love with a large chunk of the 'Delta' album on first listen and ultimately never did.

 

I'm already absolutely obsessed and in love with it, and I personally find it really catchy, the clip has been in my head all week and I know the full version will be rooted there for weeks to come. Any other fans of it?

I quite like it, but I definitely agree with Jark that the chorus feels like a build up to something that never comes. It sounds quite country to me, give the production a bit more of a twang and it's a Taylor Swift or 'back in the day' LeAnn Rimes song. (Of course, Rimes had a song and album by the same name - minus a g, plus a ' - which I'm off to relive right now.)

I liked it on first listen! It's nothing amazing, but it does feel perfect for this time of year. I've obviously not heard a lot of her past material to compare it to though.

It's shocking the amount of 'Delta top 10's' that Believe Again is missing from, I get the feeling that it's one of those songs that you either 'get' or you don't, there doesn't seem to be much middle ground. But yeah, it's my second favourite song of all time so I could hardly recommend it more.
