I used to teach year 6 ..... and reception class is 100 times more exhausting and a damn sight harder!!

 

oh and some of us will be counting to 100 by the end of the year .....;)

well when you say sit down they do

when you give them some work to do they don't need you to hold the pencil for them

they don't need teaching how to use a urinal

they never want to sit on your knee

and they never wee on you

 

and you can have a semi-intelligent conversation with them .... not involving teletubbies

 

is a LOT harder to keep 28 4 year olds occupied than 28 11 year olds .....
