I watched Ivanovic win her first game. So easy on the eyes, hopefully she can do well this year.

 

And Federer too, fully backing him to win again.

Ivanovic is useless! Fourth round max for her. Federer was looking good today but I don't think he has another slam in him, even on grass.

 

Nadal OUT to Darcis, the world no. 135, in straight sets! And Errani out on the women's side. I do love a good shocker.

 

Jesus at Nadal! :o I only just remembered him going out in the second round last year but this has to be more of a shock!

 

That was an awfully tense match, some excellent play from Darcis I thought.

Definitely wasn't ready to come back. It just goes to show how good he in on clay when he's clearly not fit but can still win a grand slam.

Whoops at Nadal, bloody hell :o I still think that Federer can win a grand slam and he'll be a threat at Wimbledon at least for a good few years to come, much like Venus Williams in her later career where Wimbledon was her only hope.

She played really well. And only 3 double faults!

Tara Moore becomes the 8th Brit out of the 10 Brits who were in the men's and woman's first round to go out after losing 7-5 5-7 7-5 to Estonia's Kaia Kanepi.

 

Great victory for Robson though. Fantastic performance she gave there.

Moore played superb tennis against Kanepi. Shame she couldn't quite come through in the end. Def one to watch though.

So the darlings of British tennis get through and everybody else is out, only really Tara Moore and Heather Watson put up much of a fight on the ladies side. I really don't know why Keothavong is still given wildcards to Wimbledon, she isn't very good, even when British number 1 and number 2 she was never brilliant. I can understand why Baltacha was given a wildcard this year, she's done alright in the run up to Wimbledon after being out for so long.

 

Tara Moore is one to watch, hopefully she will soon be up with Robson and Watson, she has great potential.

Azarenka, Isner, Darcis and Stepanek have all pulled out/retired in the second round.

That's quite a lot of injuries. It could be anyone coming through Nadal's part of the draw now.

 

Watcing the Brown vs Hewitt match, didn't expect much, but Brown's style of play is fantastic to watch, and it looks like he could take it.

Out today. HA. Wozniacki also lost, the womens' seeds always flop at Wimbledon.

And Kvitova gets a free pass to round three after Shvedova retires. Also Tsonga retires from injury while Gulbis was 2 sets to 1 up.
