I read the article, so beyond ditching a few "wooahh, wooahh" backing vocals (which were 'trademarked' a VERY long time ago by just about every Punk and New Wave band in the 70s....) it doesnt sound like that much of a 'radical departure'....

I thought they were just going to admit that they were the Toy Dolls all along.

Nah, they'll only do that when they do their cover of "Nelly The Elephant"....

I've had their album for ages now, got boring after a while (especially Modern Way and the last couple...) And live say at Glastonbury it was always the same old songs, at least they've got some different ones they play now.

Their album was pretty c**p. :( The singles were great and the album was very poor compared to the singles. -_- I'm glad they've ditched the annoying "wooahs" as they really began to grate on me. -_-

I bought the album last year and guess what... it's c**p! Lol, so I pretty much agree with you guys.

"Employment" had nothing special apart from great singles (cleverly chosen to get a release) and maybe "Saturday Night" or "Na Na Na Na Na" but the rest is $h!te.

If they want to make an upturn I suggest they record a whole album of good songs and not just 4/5 they'll release as singles.

my brother's 5 year old likes the Kaisers? esp Everyday I love you less and less.

dont know if its a good thing to have the same musical tastes as a five year old (he likes monster as well) or should i be pleased that he's not getting into rap and r&b like his dad

Am I the only that liked Employment then? There were plenty of tracks apart from the singles that were really good imo, as for the new songs the ones that I heard when I saw them in April 'Heat Dies Down' is a good song but I hope none of them are the comeback single as none of them were particularly amazing but I've HEARD that another one they're playing right now (Anger Mob or something?) is supposed to be the next I Predict A Riot which SOUNDS like it'll hopefully be good..

Am I the only that liked Employment then?

i liked it

im glad they are trying something different,i bought the first album and its a good album but it wasnt brilliant,i will wait a while to see what what the new singles are like before i buy there new album
