Some of Lohan's tracks are in this vein to. Its all kind of like "since you been gone part 2" but I do realise this Veronicas song is atleast 2 years old?

2 years. :o I know it was released in Australia just under a year ago and made #2 there.

 

The thing is, Kelly, The Veronicas, Ashlee, some of Avril's songs and some of Pink's all share the same producers, hence the 'samey' sound but I love it.

 

The Veronicas are definitely my favourite of the pop-rock bunch though, they have an amazing album too and I can't wait for them to take the UK by storm. :wub:

It's these Max Martin/Dr Luke songs, they just seem to stick with a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" forumula which is why all their songs sound the same.

They really do need to change the formula. THAT said none of their creations in the US have hit it big bar Kelly so no-one in the US has noticed and "raved" about it so to speak.

 

I wish they would follow a different forumla but Dr. Luke is cool :D

I don't think it sounds at all like 'U & Ur Hand' tbh though I do recognise the whole 'fad' if you get me. It's what's popular atm in pop and they all pull it off fabulously. I love a good song with lots of attitude like 'Since U Been Gone' etc

I love the anthemic chorus's. Its like pop music with a rock attitute. It works well.

I found my copy as an Australian import in virgin megastores a few months ago, I bought it without hesitation. :wub:

 

I'll be buying the single of this to show my support and it being my favourite single of the year so far.

the HMV in my town doens't have it as an import but on Saturday I will have a look in Newcastle. If its there, I'll buy it fer sure!

Newcastle should have it I would have thought, its a large-ish size HMV I would presume :D

Ooooh and on a random note the 5th single from 'The Secret Life Of...' in Australia appears to be 'Leave Me Alone'
